Oh, that looks like a very decent site.

lul I'm usually so 'mericuh-centric that I don't even notice what other places those wolves are at.

Hey, conversation starter - what do you guys think of wolves being interbred with other canids?

You mean wolf-dog hybrids? As long as the breeder isn't stupid, and the owners of the hybrid treat the animal more like a wolf then a poodle, I am fine with it.

Not just wolfdogs, but also coywolves, etc.
Also, breeding endangered animals to more common species as a conservation effort? What do you think of species purity in regards to survival long-term, short-term, etc.

Coywolves? People actually breed wolves to coyotes on purpose? For what reasons?

Not on purpose, it's just a thing that's happening. IIRC it's of special concern in regards to the red wolf. On one hand, it means there's more animals with red wolf DNA; on the other hand, it's been contaminated.

Whoever did that is seriously misinformed.
Grey Wolves aren't frickin' endangered for the last time. D=
In maybe, like, one area, sure, but overall they certainly are not.

Even if they were, I'd still shoot them on sight.
They're beautiful creatures, but they're in a lot of peoples way of living.
I, for one, would and will remove anything that dares to try and stop the way I live/survive.
Including the poor poor "woofs".

Lol, I love how you're calling the fish and wildlife people misinformed... they probably know more about "poor woofs" than you do. They're the ones that make the laws.

Shooting endangered animals is against the law. So yes, wolf hunting is illegal in some places but you say you would still shoot them - who says your life is more important than theirs? You're the one that is getting into their life. No, I'm not being a wolfaboo or whatever you call it and saying wolves are in need of serious protection, but they will be if the laws that the "misinformed people" wrote are broken. /endrant

Also, I do know that Alaska is in the U.S. (believe it or not, I did take geography in third grade...) but I misspoke.

If you live in U.S. they are endangered unless you live in Alaska.

Happy?

Excuse me sweetheart? I'd like to see you try and put that in a nicer way, hmmm?
I, myself, stick to sites like the one pointed out before, one that actually keeps up with the endangerments of animals.
Also, you're apparently misinformed as well. They are not endangered only in Alaska. They aren't endangered in any state that has a farm in it, or for that instance a grey wolf. The endangered ones, I believer, natural habitats aren't even in the US either. So really, you're argument is invalid. :3

Please don't call me sweetheart. It's really quite uncalled for.

They are considered endangered in most of the U.S. - I looked it up, you can check the official government species profile. http://ecos.fws.gov/speciesProfile/prof ... pcode=A00D

They are delisted in parts of some states, but in Colorado, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregan, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin they are endangered, not to mentioned threatened in Minnesota. As well as "under review" in other states.

Did I say one word against wolf hunting?

No, I did not.

However, they are endangered in MUCH of the country. So do your research.

Listen here.
We're talking about the whole damn species of Grey Wolf in a whole.
Not in certain states.
If the wolves in one state disappeared, no one should give a crap. There are millions more left.
If I ever go to a state where these overrated creatures are, I'd more then gladly shoot one if I saw it near the urban area.
Just to protect people.

They aren't the friendly puppies people make them out to be.
Even though they're not murderous, they will kill humans unprovoked.

In my opinion, even though they are quite beautiful creatures, it would be better if they went extinct.
So many people raise hell about this things, people would be forced to let them go as if they were a thing of the past.

Do you see people bawwing still about the Thylacine?
People will get over wolves too.

The population at the moment is around 200,000. It used to be 2 million.

I don't think that you have any right saying that they are cruel and will kill a person. Wolves are wary of humans and you are more likely to be attacked by a dog than a wolf. You have no right saying that they should be extinct - this is why I don't support people hunting wolves. It's because some of the people don't care about what they are hunting. Yes, some people are careful and I respect them for that, but there is no argument for your case.

I don't think you have anything backing you up anymore.
