I am looking after my brothers friends rats for a month, they have gone on holiday. they are both girls and i am pretty sure one is pregnant i dont want to e mail them cause ill ruin there holiday but i think they will think it was one of my boy rats so they wont like me but i think she was pregnant when i got them. what should i do

Hmm...
I think you should e-mail them now. It probably won't spoil much of their holiday- and you can let them know that you are pretty sure it was already pregnant.
If he still is mad, you can offer to take a baby or two.

How did they come into contact with your boys??
You have to buy a nursing cage now for the girls and look into caring for them.

thank you for the good luck, sorry i got kicked of the computer soon after posting that. thank you for your advice, i will email them. i have had pregnant rats before so i have a nursing cage and have put her in there already.

I told myself I wasn't going to get more rats while at home after mine die, but I've really been having a hankering for little ratties. I don't trust myself to go to the pet store...

You could see if there are any good breeders in your area? Then, even if you decide not to get any more, if you do get the urge to get some ratties you won't instantly think "to the pet shop!", y'know? ^^;

I'm getting my babies tomorrow. :) I visited them when they were younger, and they are just gorgeous. Also briefly met their mother, and sat on the couch with their dad (my god, he was huge! and such curly rex fur) <3
The breeder is lovely, and she also makes some awesome hammocks, so I'll be picking up a couple corner hammocks, a triple layer hammock and a cube while I'm there (all in fabric with little mice and cheese on it) :D

I'm still a bit undecided on the names, if anyone could help with that.. There's three girls, two of which are rex. I was thinking Lilac, Lily and Lotus?
But then, I could name them something silly like Primula, Philly and Edam >>; (those are cheeses, if anyone didn't get that).

edit: In the ways of cheese names, maybe something like Blue, Brie and Bel? Bel being short for Babybel. >3>

The only breeder near me was in this club. I wanna say its DarkVoodoo?
The only thing about seeing some is I don't have my license so my mum would have to drive me and she'd try pressuring me into getting more. So, I don't know.
