Outlawed (Accepting)

Jay leaned forward in the saddle as she passed ahead of the run away prince. In the hand closest to the prince she clutched a long slender dagger. It's slender blade marked with swirling designs. The hilt was wrapped in a cloth that was so blue it looked like it had been taken from a blue jay's back. Closing in on the horses head she swung the dagger and cut the reins. Hearing a voice she turned to see Rebbeca riding up besides them calling to the prince, saying that they would not hurt him. Jay nearly rolled her eyes but Rebbeca probably had Arowin's support so she would lay off the kid. Sheathing her dagger Jay reached out a hand and grabbed the lose reins pulling the big war horse to a stop.

"I cook. Not very much, but enough to make some money and be able to eat." Saya said following her hoping Deuce would be ok with out her. He tended to have a temper if she was not around.

Deuce races around the stables staying away from the stable hands.

One of the grooms fetched the Queen's mare, Sans Merci who imidiatly caught the stallions attention. They waited till he came close enough to make a grab for his reins. Another groom had closed the barn doors and barred them so that the stallion didn't get any further.

Arianna lead Saya to the palour. "Sounds interesting. Tell me about your life, if I am not bein too bold." she added after a second of thought. She motioned for Saya to take one or the empty seats. Arianna cradled her son in her arms rocking and swaying gently back and forth in an attempt to get the hyper toddler to sleep but he was too excited and wanted to run off to John.

"Its not a bother at all my queen. My father was a hard working blacksmith most of my life, when he died from an attack on her home. Mother and I was in town at the time and was very sad when we found out. Mother raised me for many years to believe that only good could come from fathers death. So I was never sad." Saya said unphased by it.

Deuce walks over calmly looking at the mare.

John walked around, still waiting for Guy and Sheriff to get back, when he saw Arianna. But Kyle wasn't with her. He gulped and started towards her, getting panicked. Then he saw that Kyle was standing and he stopped short. He froze for a moment before letting a huge grin spread on his face. He walked up behind Arianna, who now had Kyle in her arms, and wrapped his own around her. "He's walking." was all he could say, still grinning and his eyes twinkling.

Frank rode up to the hoods tree, watching the chaos unfold, capturing a royal knight was one thing but capturing a member of the Royal family was entirely another subject "Hello?!" he called up to the tree, riding to where the ramp comes down, standing up in his stirrups as he did so, Diad softly snorting and pawing at the snowy ground, trying to look for grass to eat.

Arianna jumped when she felt someones arms tighten around her. He first thought was to get loose and get Kyle out of harms way. She imidiatly laughed when she released it was John. She relaxed and even leaned into his embrace. She smiled broadly. "John, I would like you to meet Saya. She is a village cook." she said happily introducing her to him. Kyle awkwardly ran to his father and tripped slightly on the way but Sky ducked under him, keeping him up.

Arowin climbed a tree and lowered the ramp. She raised it once everyone was up. She looked over the group around her and saw that Emerald wasn't with them. She shrugged and walked back to her hamock watching the others. She sighed and relaxed feeling sleepy. Her eyes drifted closed but she didn't fall asleep, instead she listened to the sounds of the forest and the sounds of the people around her.

John looked up and smiled at Saya. "Nice to meet you." he said with a nod. He looked down at Kyle and chuckled. He leaned down and picked up the child in his strong arms. "Well look at you, already up and walking." he said to the baby.

Saya nods as well. "My king. I should check on Deuce. I worry that he is giving your handlers a hard time." Saya said looking worried towards the barn

Arianna smiled. She sat down as Saya left and watched as father and son spent time together.

Kyle pulled at his fathers crown. His green eyes were transfixed on the gold as the light caught it.

The grooms led Merci forward, right up to the stallion and grabed his reins. They lead the two forward towards the tacking up and down area.
