My story. This is written in all the charecters points of veiw, Laurona, Mardelius, Rayo, Dax Tira, Max and Foalan etc.


"Mardelius! O-over here!" Laurona was screaming to her mate in terror over the howling wind. What was this terrible storm? She thought. Why does it have to happen now, when I have pups in my belly? The happy couple were going for a long walk when they suddely noticed dark gray, angry clouds drifting over at a frightingly fast speed. Then the wind started. And oh, it was fastest most cunning wind both of them have either seen. Laurona tried to run with her mate but the weight of the pups slowed her down. The rain was driving down and drenching them until their fur was plastered to their skin.

Mardelius could barely hear his mate scream his name over the howling wind but he knew it was her. "Laurona! I can't see you!" He howled. Frightened more for his mate than himself, Mardelius became frantic. Growling in frustration he started looking again. "Laurona!?"

"Here! Can you see me?" Laurona asked. "Yes." The two wolves pushed against the wind. Finally they found the den and watched the wind and rain rush by.

Laurona and Mardelius quickly fell asleep to the howling wind and thrashing rain. Mardelius woke up. Nudging his mate softly so they could both see the aftermath of the storm. "Look, look what has happened." It seemed like a whole differnt world as they peeked through the cave entrance. Leaves, fallen trees and branches littered the ground. The river was raging and over flowing, carrying debris and murky brown water. "Lets go outside." Mardelius said. "No, our pups! They are coming!" Laurona said.

Three years later.

Rayo looked at his mate, Soraya then the rest of the pack. "Everyone!" He said proudly. "Tonight we will attack the Korondors! I will take everyone who is well rested and healed. Igino, I am confident that you have all the right herbs and supplies, correct?" "Yes." Rayo looked around when suddenly Spectral, one of the Gaurds who weren't at the meeting, howled a warning. "Korondor! Korodors coming!" Rayo screeched, "All warriors who are fit, get ready! Scouts! Get to the lookouts, howl if there are more! Warriors, if any trainiees that are almost ready to become warriors, please get them! Alphas only come if you are fit! Igino! Go to the cave and take the pups, move move, move!

Dax waited for Rayo and Soraya to pass then quickly followed behind. Nervous exitment he always got in battle bubbled up inside of him. He shook his big head to try and chase it away. At last, he heard the drawn out cry of a Korondor that chilled his bones. Dax ran forward and smashed the first Korondor he saw. He bit and tore its tough skin and ripped its stomach. Dax fought tirelesly and strongly, this weak Korondor was no match for him. Finally the Korondor died. Dax didn't even have a scratch on him and realised all the blood around him was from the Korondor.

The determined Tira growled in excitment as she heard the Korondors sneakily getting closer. Then, she saw the glinting yellow eyes of a male Korondor hidden behind a bush. As always, their fiersome expression startled her, but she ignored the fear and sprang over the shrub. Tira landed on his back. She starded to dig her claws into its tough leathery skin and bit its back. The Korondor screamed in pain. Grrrrr. Tira bit again, this time ripping its skin. The Korondor snapped its head around and bit her forepaw. Ouch! Tira squeiled in pain. It seared the her paw and up her leg. "You think you can stop me, cant you?!" She howled at the Korondor. Digging her claws in more.

Max looked at Tira fighting a male Korondor. Tira, your paw its bleeding! Max thought. Then he nervously jumped to help her. Max nipped Max's tail. "Max comon'!" Tira growled. Mack dove again, this time bitting the Korondor's muzzle. It cried helplessly. "I think its learned its lesson." Max wispered. "No." Tira answered. She took one more bite and jumped off its back, just as it started to buck. Max looked at her. "Lets go help the others." Tira said.

Foalan sighed as she scanned the trees for a Korondor. They were very well blended in, and only their eyes gave them away. Foalan hated fighting, but if they were getting attacked, she had to fight. All of the sudded Foalan felt a sudden pain in her back left leg. "Oww!" she howled. Foalan whipped around and saw a female Korondor, a little bigger than she was. It reached forward and tried to bite again, but Foalan was too fast and jumped away. Foalan limped forward and unbalanced it, reveiling its softer stomach. She quickly bit it. The Korondor was strong though, and Foalan was hurt and weakend. It lashed its tail into her face clawed her side. Foalan wanted to give up but couldn't, she snarled and bit its tail, feeling a crack in her jaws. The Korondor screamed and crawled away. "Thats right! You mangy animal."

Soraya was fighting vishiously next to Rayo. Who were both clearly the stronger ones against the Korondor. Even though it was the huge Korondor that killed Mardelius, Rayo's father, it was old and not as strong. Rayo could not bring himself to lose againts this strangely huge korondor. Side by side Soraya and Rayo bit the Korondor, who was confused of who to attack. It started to weaken, and fast. The Korondor reared on its hind legs and slashed Rayo's side who, was startled by the attack, fell. Soraya screamed and charged the Korondor so fast she split his skin with her armour. Blood welled from the long cut. Soraya growled in satisfaction and shot him another blow to the head. The confused Korondor tried to bite Soraya but missed and hit her armour. The inpact was hard and split his tooth. Then the Korondor fell. All the others stopped fighting. The Korondors reatred back to the forest. "Um, that was weird. We won though!" Rayo howled happily.

The Warriors limped back to the cave and celebrated their victory. Many of the warriors were wounded and tired but they all had their spirits up in joy of winning. The story of the biggest Korondor getting killed would turn into legend. Rayo and Soraya would be prized forever.

*Sigh* Finally finished. Not very happy with the final product, but oh well *shrugs shoulders*. You can defiantly expect another piece from me because I am pretty determined when it comes to this contest.
