Well.. okay. Why not? I'm in a good mood and I really want those retired pets.
My trade on the CS side is accepted right away, but as the other site only allows 10 pets to trade at a time (Plus the most annoying trade system ever) the process of getting all 229 pets onto my account would take a while. We get about half way done and they send me this:

Can this be part of the PW pets too? I want to make sombody happy and give them their dream pet.

No. That was not part of the original deal.

In the meantime I am using my PURCHASED credits on yarolds to level the pets they have because they are technically mine. That and I wanted to see what the rare retired ones were. I even PMed them telling them I was hatching them.

This morning we get back to trading. They get down to the last 10 and are the rarest pets- the entire reason I allowed the very rare cats to be traded for them.

I get this PM:

I sorta want to keep my grownups.

I reply:

I was the one that hatched those remember? I spent credits on yarolds to hatch the tortoise snake and two cats. Plus, the cats are the most valuable part of the deal and the reason why I accepted. If you want an adult I can trade you a recent one I have many of, but I do need those.

Hm, Can I still keep a few that I can't get anymore? I would be willing to trade the cats though.

Sorry, no. I can give you some I have doubles of that you like but come on! I traded rare pets for rare pets I thought I was getting! It's not fair to change your mind halfway through on what you agreed.

I end up losing 3 of the rare pets and several credit's worth of clicks on yarolds.

Can I have a dino?

I'm tired and upset that I'm getting stiffed. I've lost three rares because I had to bribe this user to give me the pets we agreed to trade on AND they have the gall to ask for expensive $ bought pets.

They demand to keep the cat that made me take the trade in the first place because it was their first pet.

Ugh.

It would have been nice if you had said so at the very beginning. I'm very disappointed with this entire trade because you didn't tell me that you wanted to keep some when we first agreed on the trade. Expecting that I was going to get these pets for two days and even spent credits on hatching pets that were technically mine is kind of a slap in the face especially when I show good faith and send my end first. Keep the cat I am tired of trying to deal with this.

I absolutely hate snobby auctioners who want to extort everything and then tell you to read their rules. Just checked and I certainly didn't break any of them. Sheesh, no wonder why I keep withdrawing from interacting with people.

I try not to edit a bid, since it is technically their bid, and if they don't want to bid certain pets, and I chose those certain pets, they might get mad at me and just cancel all together. But if it's a normal trade, I'll edit it, usually.
But I don't really like auctioneers like that either. The kind of auctioneers who do that, cancel bids because "I've got a better one", don't tell you in their cancel message that the auction had been auto'd, don't cancel at ALL when that happens, tell you to add more when you're already overpaying and you've won their auction, and so much more.
But that belongs on the auction rant thread.
