Luhua lifted her head as her name was spoken. "Sheik." she replied, hating how weak she sounded. Ugh. Luhua cut it out, he just saved your life, enough already..... Fine. Another argument, this time that voice won. "A-are you okay?" she asked, leaning against the wall as she pushed herself up halfway, front legs propped up, hind end laying on the ground. Her head and left side hurt like hell also, but she focused on Sheik.

Sheik flicked his ears "Thats not important. Lie down and relax, Luhua. He hurt you..." He sounded upset over that "I'll be fine. Just a few scratches." Sheik flicked his tail. he felt rather lightheaded, but knew that he couldn't rest now.

Luhua sighed, but laid down, even though it was uncomfortable. "I'll be fine. You know you're in danger as much as I am right, Sheik? You'll be fine once I leave to my own den. I'll no doubt die, but what does it matter?" She seemed as though she was talking to herself, but her voice was loud enough for Sheik to hear.

Sheik growled softly "Luhua, you wont die. I wont let you. Trust me, im very stubborn." He cared for Luhua, and didnt want her hurt. Some mock him and say he has the caring side of a female, but hell, thats probably true.

Luhua flicked her ears, rolling her eyes up to focus on Sheik. He seemed to care about her more than she thought. "Sheik. I don't get why you'd want to risk your life for some sick female you found one day? Why?" She really just wanted to know. Maybe it was a good reason. Maybe Sheik was just caring. Either way, Luhua had to admit, it was pretty sweet of him.

Sheik smiled down at Luhua "I couldn't leave you to die. Some say i have the caring side of a female, and that's probably true. Plus, i felt sorry. A sick female all on her own, who now has a psychotic male out to get her? How couldnt i care." He looked down at her softly. "I would easily give my life to help those in need."

Sheik's words comforted Luhua, until he spoke of Luckas. "I thought he was dead, Sheik. I hoped he was dead, that he died slowly and suffered. But he's determined to make my life living hell. I can't live a normal life, knowing a male is going to get me." she shuddered, curling up in a ball, which caused her a great deal of pain, but she didn't want to think of Luckas. Sheik's words had left her, and the female was no longer in a zone of comfort, just fear again.

Sheik winced, feeling a flash of pain. He sighed "look. Im not going to let him touch you, even after you head back up to your den." He snarled a bit at him, determined to help Luhua.

Luhua nodded, deciding to fully trust Sheik. They were in this together. Though, she probably wouldn't sleep in her den, and would constantly be frightened. Should she suggest staying here with Sheik, for like....A while? She decided to let that drop for now. Sprawling out on her side again, she yelped. Yes yelped. In pure pain. Hitting rock put a damper on your day for sure.

Sheik flattened his ears, still mad. He wanted to take his anger out on something..."Luhua. We are both still hungry, and food will help us recover and get stronger. Would you eat if i brought prey back?" He didn't care if he was hurt and bleeding.
