Thayrah (ay like in 'hay' and ah like 'uh') X Aolani (ao like 'ow', la like the note, ni like knee)
Thayrah is quiet and generally reserved. She isn't used to showing her emotions, because she was taught that it was a sign of weakness. It's even harder to let people close to her, because she feels that she has no reason to complicate her life with liars and thieves. (she's optomistic, isn't she? X3) but she's secretly a perv ;D
Aolani is sort of the opposite. She's voiced about her opinions and friendly. She tends to be tactile, which annoys the heck outta Thay. She can make anyone smile, even if their day was bad. She usually seems dense, but she does actually have a brain. She can be a deep thinker and will ask some philosophical questions. These are -really- rare moments though XD
They do work out, however unlikely it seems. They agree on a lot of things and can see eachother's points of view. If Aolani is either ranting or saying how awesome something is, Thayrah will challenge her with an objective view. She isn't mean, but she tries to get everything to even out. Aolani can cheer Thay up when she's all moody, and, although Aolani is almost never sad, Thay does try to make her happy when she isn't.
I got lazy so I'm not typing up about my other pair P:

Harvest and Lighty Jr.

Lighty Jr. had always been a happy go lucky dog, always optimistic. She always put on a happy face for her friends, even though she did sometimes feel a bit sad. Her favorite place to go cry things out was on the lonely hill in park. It was a sad winter day when she made her way up the hill alone. He life was empty, she was just living to survive and surviving to live. There was no reward for her staying alive, she just did. For the first time in her life she felt like there was no more point in living. Just as she started to think about all the ways she could kill herself, a voice came from behind her. "Excuse me miss, are you ok?" the deep gentle voice asked. Lighty Jr. looked startled and turned around. He silver tears gleamed in the moon light as she shook her head and whispered, "No, I am not." The large orange small gently put his head on his shoulder and said, "Don't worry everything will work out." Magically, the she-dog felt a lot better. "Thank you," she sniffed. Harvest grinned and Lighty Jr. laughed.

And that's how they met...
