I MANAGED TO SEE THE NEW EPISODE ON THE DAY IT CAME OUT!

* dances *
Okayz... my thoughts.
It seems a lot of people were disappointed in this latest episode, but since I didn't really keep up with the updates I didn't have any expectations to disappoint. I really liked it. ^^
The whole episode I went from D'awww... (when the Doctor was with George) to LOL! (When the Doctor was interacting with George's 'father' - I forgot his name) to O.O (in the Amy and Rory dollhouse scenes) to D: (when the landlord person was onscreen. I really disliked him)
It seems to me that Rory has become far more extroverted then he was at the beginning of series five. I don't think the beginning Rory would have said (aloud) that they should just leave the kid to the monsters.
And Rory's little panic scene in the hallway of the dollhouse was amusing. ^^
Ah... what can I say? Great performance, Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill! Of course Karen Gillan was good as well, but somehow I think those two were the strongest actors in Night Terrors.
Annnd... I'll finish with one of my favorite quotes.
Doctor: “When I was your age, oh about a thousand years ago, I loved a good bedtime story. The Three Little Sontarans, the Emperor Dalek’s New Clothes, Snow White and the Seven Keys Of Doomsday. The classics.”
That made me laugh so hard.
^ I LOVED when he was telling him the 'Bedtime Stories' xD
I think Rory really shined in this episode. First time I actually laughed and smiled at his words. xD
I wasn't disapointed. I just think that Alex (The Father) changed his view on George too quickly Dx

I did find this episode unnerving actually.
Unnerving, not terrifying, but I haven't really been scared to the point of real fear in Doctor Who. I was horribly unnerved by Blink but that's the closest I've got. I find creepy children unnerving, and children laughing, and children singing creepy rhymes. The transformation bits were really horrible, which was brilliant. I thought it ended too abruptly though, but I don't think it had enough in it for a two parter. Meh, The Beast Below was a bit similar that way.
Rory's not becoming extroverted...Rory isn't an extrovert, far as I can tell (introversion/extroversion is really hard to gage in TV shows like Doctor Who, were characters are constantly being thrown into crises). I can't imagine him having that need for social contact that Eleven (and Ten) has. I think Amy's an introvert too. The whole Rory joking around thing was more a look at him relaxing into being part of the TARDIS team, and a bit more Amy/Rory dynamics (I imagine that he probably jokes around with her a lot, when he's not fretting about things).

Oh, I agree that Rory isn't extroverted, that's not what I meant. I guess a better way for me to put it would have been "less of an introvert." And even that is only a personal opinion.
Also, good point about "the TARDIS team." That probably is the main reason why he seems to have changed a bit. ^^

But I don't really see it as being less of an introvert either...you get frighteningly social introverts, I'm friends with a couple. I'm a pretty socially tolerant one myself. I know what you're getting at though...'more social' might be more apt terminology. /semantics neuroticism

JUST WATCHED NIGHT TERRORS!!!!

it was pretty dang amazing!!
I have to say it was pretty, creepy, especially the dummies with the child laugher and voice thing. I really love the ending though(: except at the very end, I mean is The Doctor going to die again!?!?!? I was kinda freaking out over that XP but yess, that was an amazing episode, and I'm so proud of myself for figuring out they were in the dollhouse the first time I saw it was in the cubbard XD
