Well it's not necessarily being able to tell right from wrong, though, is it? Because a genuinely nice person would still go to Hell if they have not accepted Jesus into their hearts. They probably are a very nice and good person but because they have not repented for their sins ultimately we'll be damned. :c I don't think it's being able to tell the difference between good and bad, it is being old enough and responsible enough to make an educated descicion about their personal faith, rather than morals.

They are not discriminating against her faith, it would be the same I'm assuming if she were any other religion. Schools tend to stick to their rules, and mandatory events are mandatory events, do not expect them to have exceptions. It is an unfortunate coincidence, yes, but no discrimination I hope. :c In these kind of circumstances it is not because they don't like the religion and don't want you to attend church, but because they feel the event or whatever they are holding all students must attend.
