City Lights<->Semi-Lit Alley Cat Roleplay [Open :3]

Foxglove reached the top a few seconds before Sushi, and she used the time to rearrange her features and bring her breathing under control. When he finally arrived, the she-cat stepped forwards, smiling smugly as he let her enter the building/shack (can't remember what it was x3) first. She made sure that her tail ran along his back as she stalked past him. Blinking quickly, Foxglove purred in reply, settling herself down and wrapping her paws across her paws as she gazed intently after Sushi. While she waited, the she-cat planned what she was going to do. First she would eat, then she would flirt some more and then she would sleep. The next day all depended on how she felt. Maybe he'd be good to keep around, especially if he could hunt. But if he gets clingy... Foxglove's amber eyes narrowed, and she unsheathed her claws subconsciously. This cat did not like clingy males, they were as bad as kittens. Hissing softly, Foxglove jumped as Sushi spoke, instantly relaxing into a smile. "Oh, you're fast. What an amazing hunter. I could never catch a pigeon with broken wings." Laughing quickly, she turned her gaze to him, deciding to think about tomorrow when it came. She sheathed her claws again without a murmur, hoping he hadn't seen her expression.

[Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, I was kinda distracted. But here I am!
So, how about Mordecai, Quicksilver, Foxglove and Sushi meet somewhere?
Foxglove, followed by Sushi, can meet the two cats while they having their tour in the town. Oh the drama! xD]

"Oh, is the lady eager to join the hunt?" Sushi asked at Foxglove's reaction. The reddish cat got him wrapped around her tail, but then again it wasn't anything new when it came to Sushi. He directed his stare on the ground again, waiting for another rodent. "But, as a true gentleman, I ask for permission to hunt alone. And it seems impossible for such a she-cat not to be perfect in everything." the tom smiled, claws swiftly taking life from another mouse. Sushi liked feeling like a hero, always there for any she-cat. Having two mice at his feet, the almost white tom elegantly got up and caught the two corpses by tail. He padded to Foxglove and dropped them at her paws. "If my lady wishes for more, I shall hunt them all down." Sushi whispered, tail slowly waging from one side to another. He bowed his head down, leaned forward and set his pink nose inches from hers. Backing down quickly, the tom pulled out an innocent smile and sat down, warping black tail around paws and waiting for answer.

Description: Jet black she-cat with a white chest and under-belly. Sometimes when she stands in the sun, her jet black pelt can be mistaken for an onyx ((or something... purple-ishhh))
Personality: She's normally tough, and can take care of herself, but if you're a good friend of hers, she can be sweet, caring, and protective sometimes.
Skills: She can be very quick and fast/agile. She has street-smarts so she knows New York pretty well, although not all of it. Weakness: Mice. They scare the living crud out of her. No jokes.
History: Both of her parentes were taken away by humans, and she has had no contact with them since.
Kin: None; she lives on her own.
Mate/Crush: She's not usually one to jump when she sees and attractive cat; she usually keeps her cool, and can be seductive sometimes, but she's willing to keep her heart open for the right tom.

Description:
Condor is larger in stature than most she-cats, but not over-weight. Instead of the usual delicate, slender forms you commonly see, she has a more muscular build, giving her a somewhat panther-like grace when she moves. She was born with a short, stumpy tail. Of course, this has affected her balance but over time she has learned to adapt to it. Like a condor, her fur is sleek and an inky black in colour and she sports a fluffy white patch on her chest, which fades into dapples as you travel up her body. Two scars cross over her right eye, from a run-in with a stray dog when she was young and not so good at battling. Her eyes are a dark midnight-blue shade. Overall, Condor isn't the type of cat you'd find attractive, what with her powerful, scarred appearance. However, she has her own form of beauty, in the way she hunts and fights for herself.

Personality:
A delicate little flower? Heck, no. Condor is fierce, proud and haughty. Talk about opening a can of whup-ass. She's anything but tame. Mention the word 'battle', and she'll perk up in an instant. You may have noticed, she has a fondness for battles. Whether it's chasing off a dog, or another stray, this she-cat is always there. She loves the adrenaline, the way her muscles burn when she swipes at her foe. At times, she can get somewhat carried away. Which is why she's not the best hunter. Stalking a pigeon, easy. But Condor's always of in her own little world. She'll picture her prey as an enemy, and show off her beautiful pouncing skills. Then .... rip the prey to shreds. Oops. Of course, she's not cruel. She can tell when a cat's had enough, then she'll let them go. Condor is a rather sociable soul. She loves to hang out with her best buddies. But unlike them, she has no interest in toms whatsoever. To her, love is, well, gross. However, she can get a little wistful at times and will often wonder if she'll have a mate or kits in the future.

When they were old enough, Holly and Arrow abandoned their mother to become house-cats. They wanted to live in the lap of luxury, have a meal every night, and not have to worry about the common dangers a stray would face. Eventually, they found a home with an elderly human. But their happiness was short-lived. After a few years, their owner died. Instead of taking them to their new home, her family left Holly and Arrow on the side of the road. They soon adapted to the life of a stray, as you do, but were never happy again.

Jade blinked sleppily, supressing a large yawn. She had slept fitfully these days; the lack of food coming from rubbish-bin scraps and restaurant leftovers were diminishing quickly as she found herself being kicked of the human's balconies and bar tables. Ugh. I hate the life of an alley cat. How easy had life as a housecat been; a warm bed, always a cource of food and water, loving and caring humans... Well, until they kicked me out of the house. I didn't understand why, really, though large cardboard boxes were piled up everywhere, and large trucks were coming and going to take these out. Jade sighed, giving her unkempt, mousy brown, colourpoint coat an absentminded lick, her jade-green eyes dull with worry. She would have to restrain herself to the alleys, and hopefully, receive some help from neighbouring cats. Because that's so likely to happen, she thought wryly, and unhappily as she let out another sigh, standing up and starting to trot to the more obscure part of the never-sleeping city.

Quicksilver cocked her head to one side. "Well..." She mused, "It... Wouldn't really matter what I wanted to see... What is there to this place? Actually...." She paused ehr eyes narrowing as she was deep in though, "Do you know anywhere tht I could possibly need to avoid? Like a rat's nest, or...." Quicksilver broke off, looking at the Mordecai. Her mouth curved up into a shy smile as she mewed, "And thanks, by the way, for showing me around...."

Cleo shurgged. "Well... I guess..." She mewed, her golden tail flicking up some grass behind her, "I mean..." Suddenly, she sniffed the air. "If you're not hungry, I guess I am..." She murmured, dashing off into another bush. Croushing at the entrance, she paused for a while before dashing in, her front claws unsheathed. Several minuts and some loud squeaks later, the small she-cat returned, her sleek head tilted up proudly as she padded foreward with five plump mice in her jaws. "Mouse nest..." She explained, "Although a very small one...." Rolling one to wards her as she lay down outside the bushes, she took at bite, glancing at the tom. "Here, keep the rest. It's the payment for saving my life..." She mewed, swallowing.

Black hissed, her eyes narrowing again as her pitch black pelt bristled wildly. "Get away from me." She snarled, "You house cat filth." Growling Black took a few steps back, her tail bushed out behind her. "You you think your life is great, don't you..." She hissed, "Well, you don't know what the humans will do to you when you least expect it..." Black's dark eyes rgew misty as she remembered her past. Images of pure white cats filled her mind... And then there was her. The only black cat there was. "Black cats are bad luck!" A voice shouted, and then blackness came over her....

"Of course," Foxglove purred, lifting one paw and examining it from all angles. In a sudden movement, she unsheathed her claws, slicing the paw through that air and across the wooden floor, creating gashes where her paw had struck. Shooting him a sly glance, she rose to her feet, stepping towards the door and glancing outside. "I enjoy watching others hunt. Your skill amazed me. And it's true, I never had much of a passion for hunting. Sure, I can kill, but probably not in the way you're thinking of." Laughing quickly, Foxglove made her sinister words sound like an everyday occurrence. Spinning back, the she-cat bowed her head gracefully to show her thanks. "You really are too kind, Sushi. But please, don't go out of your way for me. Two mice is quite enough for a skinny little thing like me." Her amber eyes stayed steadily fixed on his as Sushi moved closer, his nose inches from hers - he was so close that she would easily have been able to count how many green flecks he had in each eye. But then he backed off, and Foxglove couldn't stop her smile from wavering slightly with disappointment. Dipping her head to the mice, she began to eat, not once wondering if she should offer to hunt something for Sushi in return. Thoughts like that just didn't grace her mind.

Teenagers might throw rocks at you, too. So basically, avoid humans. That's the first thing you've gotta know." Mordecai meowed, padding forward. "You shoudl probably know the places where you can get food too..."

Twinkle's eyes opened wide and he took a step backward at Black's furious words. Even he could tell she was angry, and it almost startled him. "Are you okay? Black? You okay? Hey!" he meowed, tail lashing. Hopping forward a bit he leaned over sand poked her with his paw several times. "You okay? What's wrong? Hello? You there?"
