2126

I usually come every day.

When I visit I usually stay for 6-12 hours

I moderate my RP and oekaki threads. I guess but I will post the links soon if wanted. But I guess that doesn't count so no.

Yes, I love the cs oekaki and use it often.

I spend most of my time admiring the drawings and creations.

I want to be a oekaki moderater because I am a BIG fan of cs and I spend hours on oekaki. I admit its my favorite and most addictive part of cs.

I think I would be able to provide organization, fairness, and fun. I think I could provide a lot of help with cs.

1.What date did you register as a CS member?:
June 8, 2009
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
34301
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Every single day and as much as I possibly can when I'm on vacation.
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
At least 5 hours each day, usually even more than that. I often stay up late at night on cs during the weekdays and weekends.
5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them.
Strawberry Smoothie
6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
No, but I have plans to start soon after I get some more practice with digital art and using my tablet. Edit: Yes, now I have but I have done about two drawings so far.
7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, I do it all the time. It's really amazing what people here can create and it keeps me inspired to keep practicing my artwork until I get better. I love looking at all the different designs, they're very amazing and it keeps me occupied while I'm bored.
8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
Honestly, the closest I've gotten to the peer mediation would probably be when my two friends start insulting each other, but I really love looking at art and enjoy seeing all the beautiful art work people display. I just really would like to help out with preventing art theft and bullying. I also enjoy meeting new friends and helping people. I know I could be able to do the job and hope I have a chance to get it. I have been a member of this community for few years now and I hope to be able to work with the other members here in the oekaki board.

What date did you register as a CS member?: August 14th, 2008

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 3086

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? On an average week, everyday.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 2-3 hours throughout the day. 5-6 on weekends when I don't work, and then I would still spend about 3. This may increase during the school year as I start to get comfortable with school, and work is slower during the winter.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. No, I have not, at least not at a website that is still currently up and running.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, I have, and plan to continue in the future.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Probably about a half an hour on a weekday, spending a few minutes here and there. On a weekend, it could be more than an hour throughout a single day.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? Ever since the Oekaki was first introduced, I thought of it as a really great idea. Chickensmoothie is a very art-oriented websites, considering how much people adore and adopt drawings. It really inspires them to want to create such things on their own, and seeing people try so hard to do this is really enjoyable. Also, there are already a lot of talented artists that are simply looking to continue to get better. Of course, with all levels of talent could come problems and without moderators a lot of feelings could get hurt. I would like to help avoid such situations as much as possible, and being a moderator would certainly help with this, I'm sure of it. Lastly, I have a lot of spare time on the computer where I'm doing absolutely nothing. I would much rather spend my time moderating and helping than doing nothing.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position I don't have any particular experience in moderating, but I do think I would be able to work well with our younger members, I believe I'm good with children. As for our older members, I believe I could talk respectfully to them in the way they would wish to be spoken to. I like to think I'm also fairly diligent.

Thank you!

What date did you register as a CS member?:
March 8th 2009.
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
2514.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Everyday.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
At least 3-4 hours, more commonly 6+ though.
Have you moderated on any other forums before?
No.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes a little, will start to use it more as I get better on it.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, I love finding those artists who are totally amazing but more unknown.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
Art being a huge passion of mine, I would just love to help out with something to do with art as it's more my specialty than things like RP's and stuff. Being a more active part of the CS community would be great and since I'm online a lot and often at random hours keeping an eye on things wouldn't be a problem, I know the rules and what content can be shown here so putting that knowledge to use and helping people would give quite the sense of satisfaction.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Nothing really other than a sense of level headedness online and a positive attitude.

APPLICATON
  1. What date did you register as a CS member?: July 17, 2009 -about 2 years ago-
  2. How many posts have you made in the forum: 4,135 posts
  3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? about 5 days out of an entire school week if not 7, although I am more active during weekends
  4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 4-8 hours the most or least
  5. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them I am currently a mod at the Dingo_Eaters thread
  6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, I draw a picture on oekaki regulrly, when I have free time.
  7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes, quiet often just to take a look at what people have to share art wise
  8. Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? Chicken Smoothie is a daily part of my life, behind school and personal issues. It would mean a lot and make me proud to get a chance to help out those and just CS in general. Since CS has helped me, art wise, writing wise, and even some new lessons and tips, it would be my pleassure to just help out CS by keeping the boards organized and free of some spam if not all.
  9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? Well I haven't had any experence with mediation, but I assure you I would be able to help users with some (if not to personal) issues. An if it matters I used to give a user on CS advice and help after her cat pased away, and she was having issues with another user.

1) What date did you register as a CS member?:
July 24th, 2009

2) How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
4085 posts

3)How many days a week do you usually visit CS?:
Every day.

4) How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
During school, Id have to say 4-6 hours. If I'm able to squeeze time later, I usually do, giving me around 7 hours max.

5) Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them.:
No, I have not.

6) Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, I use it when I can.

7) Do you ever spend much time browsing the Oekaki Board just to look at the art posted there?:
I do every day, and spend an hour+ every day looking at the art.

8) Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?:
Art is my passion. I love anything to do with it! The Oekaki has always been a favorite place of mine.
I want to make an impact on CS. I know how to use the Oekaki, from layers to the tools. I know the rules to a tee, so it is easy for me to find someone who is breaking the rules. Since I'm always viewing all of the Oekaki forums, I can easily spot out art theft. I always report the theft/whatever when I catch it, so it would be amazing to do more then just warn the mods. I'd like to do something about it! :)

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? (this is not required):
I've owned a website before, but it failed because of the random name with numbers I gave it. If It had a better planned out name, it could've worked. I would link it, but I do not remember the exact name.
I'm an advanced art student at my school, and debating with the teachers to teach the students about art theft and how big of an offense it is. I see a lot of it around all of the time, and I want to do something about it, including other art-related problems.
I also, when I see art theft in real life, I do ask the person if they got a ref. off of google. Im always catching them red-handed. :)

The girl you just called fat...she's overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly... she spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped... he is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars... he fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying... his mother is dying. Put this as your status if your against bullying. I bet 95% of you wont re-post this, but i'm sure the people with a heart and backbone will.

What date did you register as a CS member?: Feb 25, 2010
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1357
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: 5-7 days
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: 1-5 hours - I am quite addicted.
Have you moderated on any other forums before?: I am moderating this forum. But It's not very popular.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?: Yes, and I find it very fun. :)
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?: I love browsing through Intermediate Oekaki to comment and all, and Editables and Competitions to color. I do spend a little bit of time looking through Beginners too.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?: I want to be an oekaki moderator for CS because first, I love the oekaki, and I love CS. Art is my way, and many others' way of expressing ourselves, and helping the forum where that happens would make me feel honored. I enjoy the Oekaki service, and I think that I could help it become cleaner of spam and other content that breaks CS's rules, while having a fun job. Occasionally, I check to see people are using references correctly, and correct them on a few things. I find myself bored scrolling all around CS, and if I was an Oekaki moderator, I could find good use of those times.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required):
Not really, to be honest.
