Arowin smiled. "You wish!" she said even though she knew it was true. Jay could make any meal into a feast with the simplest of ease. Arowin got up and walked over to a hammock by the fire and sat in it. She whistled an old gypsy song to take her mind off the task of sewit up her leg. When she was done she cut the thread and smiled before taking the stuff back to the store room where she quickly cleaned it and put it away. She walked over to Chris, "Finish up with Chase. A shallow grave should do. Then come join me." she said kissing his cheek before going back to the hammock and lazing in it while watching Jay.

Jay first appyled herself the the grouse knowing that they would spoil more easily and it was best to get them out of the way so she could work on the boar. Taking out a thin skinning knife Jay made short work of the grouse and soon they were skewered over the fire. Jay then started on the boar, Arowin had already gutted it so Jay started to skin it. Soon she was left with its carcass and a large skin. Folding the skin and putting it away Jay grabbed a meat cleaver and started to bucher the meat. leaving only once to get a barrel and some salt Jay set one giant back leg on the fire to cook while she packed the rest in salt so they would have food. Grabbing this and that from the stores soon the mouth watering scent of meat cooking filled the hide out. Taking the grouse off the fire jay set them to the side to stop the cooking but close enough to keep them warm.

Frank had left his room, he was hungry from his trip and realised he hadnt eaten all day. He was making his way to the kitchens when he heard footsteps in the throne room. He raised an eyebrow wondering wether it was an intruder or guard. They were heavy footsteps whoever they belonged to, he placed his hand on the door handle and opened it, only to reveal a very angry Guy.

Guy turned to Frank, a rage in his eyes. He stormed over, pointing his finger at him. "I know you've seen them." he growled. "Where are they?" He towered over Frank, staring the man down with a glare, his black hair falling in his eyes.

Chris clamped his heavy boot toe down on Chase's throat, silencing him and his struggling. He snarled at the man as Arowin walked in, a fresh wound stitched on her leg. Looking at it with a raised eyebrow, Chris soon forgot about the wound when Arowin spoke. Slight hesitation rushed through him, though he longed to get his hands on Chase. "Um... are you sure, Arowin? Do you want to say something in private to him first?" he asked, a tad bit worried about both Arowin and himself. He hadn't killed in years, and he was afraid of both the act and the fact that he was so excited to do it. And Arowin had shared a childhood with Chase, memories and times long ago but not forgotten. He didn't want to hurt her. He dug his boot down harder as Chase strained against Chris' weight. He let him breathe, but barely. If he moved he would be choked to death. Chris didn't want that. He wanted this to be revenge.

Prince Stephan was a good tracker, and after a half hour he felt he found the freshest hoof and foot prints yet. He rode in that direction, getting more anxious and nervous the closer he got to his destination. His grip tightened on his spear at his side and he remembered that he had put on some armor, just in case the guards or this "Hood" tried anything.

Regatta was riding astride Lara back to the hood when she noticed the prince. She detoured around but set her horse into a silent canter. She charged up the ramp well before the prince was within ear shot and informed Arowin before leading her horse into one of the stables. She took all the horses into their stalls and put on their feed bags to muzzle the sounds they may make.

Arowin sent Scout, her wolf cross German Shepard, out ahead of her. Once he was down she drew the ramp concealing the hideout from the forest floor. She grabbed her bow and motioned for the others to wait here. She noticed Chris' questioning eyes and nodded before climbing down a tree silently.

Scout circled the intruder keeping to the shadows but diliberetly making sounds, like snapping twigs and evernow and then a howl. The rising moon reflected his amber eyes giving his position away. When he knew Arowin was in a nearby tree he stepped forward with a snarl spooking the intruders horse. "Move suddenly and it will be your last." Arowin hissed from the trees.

Guy turned to Frank, a rage in his eyes. He stormed over, pointing his finger at him. "I know you've seen them." he growled. "Where are they?" He towered over Frank, staring the man down with a glare, his black hair falling in his eyes.

Frank turned his head to the side, frowning slightly "I havent seen anyone" he growled back menacingly, producing the quickly drawn up map "I couldnt find any sight of the hood or your precious Emerald" he added, smirking, his blue eyes returning to face Guy.

Jay called out from where she sat by the fire "hey how do you guys like your meat cooked?" she knew how she liked it and how Arowing had like it. Chuckling to herself Jay whispered "she would have eaten it raw if I'd let her." She busied herself by adding more seasoning to the meat. She sung quietly to herself, an old fireside lullaby that she had learned sitting by sitting at many a fireside.

Guy chuckled darkly and raised an eyebrow. "My precious Emerald? You're one to be talking." he growled. Though deep down he knew part of that was true. She reminded him so much of his deceased wife, she was the only thing he had left. That's why he never went for the actual kill, he made it so there was always a possible chance at her survival. He shook off the thought angrily, snatched the map from Frank, and studied it. He shoved it back in his hands and scowled. "I know that map's a fake. And when King John finds out? You'll just be another one to torture." he threatened and stormed out of the room. "Five minutes until His Majesty needs to see us." he called behind him angrily. He would be sure to make Frank pay, he wasn't sure how or why, he was just angry.

Frank scowled up at the larger figure of Guy "Save your breath old man, otherwise i'll take it from you!" he called as Guy stormed out. Out of nowhere Frank slammed the map to the floor, collapsing against a wall, Guys words running through his head and the word 'Torture' repeating like a broken record. If the king did believe him, he had failed the hood, he had failed Emerald. He gripped the top of his head tightly as he tried to think of a solution, or an escape.
