Maddie let the horses out into the pasture, letting them run and graze all they wanted. She began cleaning the stalls one by one. The girl lifted out the old bedding and hauled piles after piles of the old bedding and dumped them outside the stables, going back inside and laying new bedding once the stalls were ready.

Cordell was on his way to his friends' house, Maddie abs Brandon.

"Come...We're going out." Darius murmurs gently to Knight. He pulled her out to the backyard, towards the stables. Knight pulled away from Darius and looked around at the horses."Where are we...g-going?" She said, looking up at her brother. She rolled her eyes when she saw him lift up a shopping list. She grabs a horse then head out. Darius does the same and follows.

Maddie sighed as she finally finished cleaning the stalls. She put fresh food for the horses and lead them into their stalls. She sighed, going back into the house and wrote a note, saying, "Brandon. Going to store. Meet me there?" Then she taped it to the front door and left for the store.

Knight glanced up at her black horse before jumping on. She glanced back at Darius who was having some difficulties. She rolled her eyes and rode off down a path through the forest,completely forgetting about her brother. He was taking way to long for her and that was a problem. Besides, she was off in her own world now, glancing around the lush green forest. She looked down towards and small, narrow creek that ran next to her. She didn't bother to look over her shoulder for her brother to see if he was there because she knew he wasn't. She smirked and lightly digs her heels into the horse's sides, picking up speed as she rode along the path into town.
"H-hey!!!" Darius called. "Wait for me!!!" He scambles onto the horse, grips the reins and rode off after his sister. He didn't know how to get to town on this path. He barely knew how to ride a horse for that matter. This was one of those days where he wished he just walked towards the store, knowing Knight would complain that it took to long. He glanced around since he lost sight of Knight. He scowled, frustrated then lightly dug his heels into the horse's side also picking up some speed. He spots a black blur infront of him and sighs of relief, thinking he had gotten lost.

Maddie got the keys to the faded red truck and climbed in, starting the engine. She would prefer going by horse, but she had a lot of groceries to buy. She drove by, watching as trees blurred by, sittin back and enjoying the ride.

Maddie got out of her truck as soon as she parked and turned the engine off. She pocketed the keys in her front pocket and entered the store, grabbing a cart.

Darius and Knight stop infront of the store. They jumped off the horses. Knight ran into the store while Darius got a cart. He glanced around.

Maddie had started walking toward the refrigerated section of the store, when she heard he name being called. She turned around, and smiled when she saw Cordell jogging up and stopped beside her. "Hey," she said.

Cordell smiled, "Come on. Move aside, I'll drive the cart and help you with the shopping," he said, pushing her aside gently.

Maddie laughed as she tried to stay in place as she argued, "You're the guest. I should be the one doing the chores," but of course he won.

"Go get soup, ice cream, milk and eggs...And I'll get everything else.." Darius murmurs. He heads off into a different direction. Knight just blinks...She didn't know what she was supposed get....
