You made it, finally! You get a warm welcome from everyone at you're new high school/college as you walk on the asphalt paths, observing you're gorgeous surroundings. Ashmoor has a beautiful campus, you have to admit. Whether you got to this school through scholarship or you're parents wealth, you're now in one of the best school in the world! You look at you're classes that are upon the fancy piece of red and white paper, observing what their number is. You're dorm number is also on this piece of paper, and you know you're luggage is already there. As you walk down the paths, a smile appearing on you're face, you notice that people are in clumps. Huh? You turn you're head to the left, noticing the people had piercings and dark clothes, along with pale skin. You then turn you're head to the right, noticing that these people had visible tans and preppy clothes. Look a bit ahead, you then notice that there are people with glasses and large backpacks, along with people with skateboards and beanies. You then realize what is going on in this great school. Terrible stereotypes, of course! Great. You're year is going to be fun.

The door attempted to move a few inches. Occupied with the peanut butter, Lafayette ignored it. But then, he heard a certain knock, knock, knocking.
" Lafayette, can you please move the pots and let me in? " a familiar feminine voice called. ' Sel! ' Lafayette rejoiced in his head happily. Keeping the peanut butter jar safely in tote, he tucked it under his arm. The man then snapped his fingers, moving the pots and pans in an instant. On second thought, why not be a gentleman? While he was at it, Laffy did a certain twirl of his pointer finger, and opened the door for the lovely lady. Then it occurred to him that she may not be happy with him sitting on the kitchen counter, and slid off.
" Sel! " he rejoiced. " Oh, hello, love! It's such a terrible tragedy! " Laffy said, caking on the drama like a stage girl's makeup. The blonde man quickly made his way over to her, stepping over pots and pans as he went. Better pick those up later.
He bent down to her eye level, being taller than her. " Sel, love... " Laffy began, putting on a puppy face. " Could you kindly open this for me? " There, he asked it. The request that was made at least twice a week. Save the day and open the peanut butter. He could use his magic, but didn't want Sel to know that he...well...performed said magic. He was pretty sure she still believed he simply used illusions, or simple magic at most. Not, you know, dark magic that he used. He hoped she didn't see him move the pots and pans.
" Someday, I'll become strong enough to open it! I promise! " he whimpered.
