1.What date did you register as a CS member?:
Sun Oct 18, 2009

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
1566

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?:
5-7 days

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
Weekdays: 2-3 hours; Weekends: Normally more than 9

5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them:
No, but I have run a few art shops in the past, and have experience dealing with some rather unpleasant people and situations.

6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
All the time.

7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?:
Every time I come on CS, I almost always head straight there to look at the latest pictures that have been posted. One of my favorite pastimes.

8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?:
Well, for starters, I love CS, and especially the oekaki. I also love art, and like to help people. I find that the Oekaki board is a great place to share and learn the art of... well art! ^-^ Sometimes though, I've seen people post in the wrong forum, have an argument started, or be just plain rude. I despise art theft, and even if I, thankfully, haven't had to experience having my art stolen, I know I would hate it if someone did happen to take my character's design or claim one of my drawings as their own. I would love to be able to help remedy and prevent some of these problems, and keep the Oekaki board the friendly, awesome place it is for everyone who enjoys CS and art.

9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I'm level headed, and don't get mad easily when someone yells at me. I look at both sides of the story before deciding my view on the matter. I tend to get along with a lot of people, and can understand if a user doesn't quite get the workings of the Oekaki board. Since I've been here awhile, and visit CS almost daily, I have an idea of what kind of things I'd have to be dealing with.

What date did you register as a CS member?: Thu Feb 24, 2011 5:09 pm
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 545
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 7
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 2-4(sometimes more), depending on the day. School is starting, but I can get on in the morning and afternoon and sometimes during school even.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Yes. I own a few sites but I have moderated quite a few others. All of the site I was previously moderating have been deleted for some reason, sadly. But my website (which is dead now) is http://www.webkinzfanatic.forumotion.com (previously webkinzfanatic.net) I moderated a lot of user Snow and Shadows websites, so you can talk to her. ;)
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes! :)
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Lots. All the time.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I get bored a lot. I love helping others and keeping people safe. Plus I think I would be good at it. I have always wanted to help out a fun website like CS. I understand that I must be mature to do this, and I feel like I am ready. I am very responsible as I have a new baby brother who I have to take care of a lot. I try never to slack off or forget about things. I Would try my hardest and work my best to keep CS a safe and nice site for all of its members. The oekaki is my favorite board so it would be a lot of fun for me, too. I can tell if a drawing isn't fit for intermediate or is in the wrong area. Mean/Disrespectful people really bother me and I will be quick to act if something is happening. But I have been hurt by others before so I can take all of their 'bashing'. I am really a nice person, and I try to never be mean. I know all of the rules for CS and right away I will be able to tell if somebody is doing something wrong. I promise I would not abuse my abilities in any way, such as telling others about other members history or randomly moderating for fun. I know this is a very important job and I would be the best I could be at it, scoping out everything to clean up CS! :)
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I am really good with programs so I will know how it works. I am also good at spotting anything/everything hurtful or bad. ^above kind of already lists a lot
Thanks. :D

What date did you register as a CS member?:
Oct 20, 2008

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
eight-hundred and sixty-three

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
seven days a week

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
roughly 9

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
I have drawn on it, but never saved anything.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
roughly around 3

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I would love to be an oekaki moderator because I love to look at the other peoples creativity (I'm jealous I don't have their skills). I love to see what the other members of CS have to offer. I would love to have a CS mini job and feel like I'm an actual part of this wonderful community. I would really like to prove myself as a valuable member and feel like I'm doing something. I have a lot of time to spend on the boards and helping out.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?):
I'm very people friendly, I'm able to break something up with out offending either party. I like to see both sides before trying to correct a problem and don't just jump to conclusions. I'm very peppy and I feel I'm very open so people can come to me with questions, comments or concerns.

What date did you register as a CS member?: Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:24 am

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 897 Posts

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I try to visit CS every day I can. Sometimes I'll have a lot of work to do, or I'll be too busy, but other than that I spend a ton of time on CS.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Around 2-6 hours a day. Sometimes more.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them No, I have not moderated any other forums before.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? I've colored in one drawing on the Oekaki forum. I don't really post on the Oekaki forum, because I'm not much of an artist, but I do love to hang around in that forum. It's interesting to see others' drawings.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Hmm... Usually 2-4 times a day.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I enjoy enforcing the rules, for one. Art theft has been a problem on a lot of sites, and I'd love to be able to help reduce that amount of art theft-ness (couldn't think of another word, heh.) I also have a dislike to bullies and rule-breakers. In my opinion, they should all be punished, but punished fairly and appropriately. The forums here on CS are so nicely done and free of trolls nearly all the time! The staff here is so wonderful, too, and they help out so much around the site. If I was to get the job of an Oekaki moderator, I would feel like I would be giving something back to the site that I spend more than half my time on every day! Now onto more about the Oekaki forums. I would love to be an Oekaki moderator for CS because I love being able to help out people, and be able to see others' art. People who are just beginning to draw, or are trying to experiment are amazing in their own way, as well as the very experienced artists. Even though I don't draw much, I do like to doodle on the computer, and I LOVE photography. Anyway (getting a little off topic, eh? c;), I try to be straight forward, yet kind, when giving someone answers about their art/writing work. If I was an Oekaki moderator, I would have a good reason to be here, instead of just 'I'll just be on for for no reason at all :D', haha. I would feel great if I could do something nice for CS. Even though (like you said) I could possibly gain some enemies from trying to be calm and responsible, I think that just shows you care enough to help them out. You never know, they may be thanking you a few days later because the things you told them could help 'em out with other posts on the forums! I have not moderated any other forums, but sometimes I'll go on the suggestions/problems/html help boards and answer some of the topics. Alright, well, just being able to fill out this form and have the opportunity to (maybe) become an Oekaki moderator is amazing, so thank you.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I have helped out a lot of people on the internet and in real life. I am able to stay calm in the most chaotic situations. I'm also very good with people, and when I'm given directions I'll follow them. I've not done peer mediation or things like that before, but that is could be a good idea to try out! I have found out through years of experience that mistakes just make you better, and you can always learn something new, and I always take those skills with me. I also have seen how some of the arguments on here go down, and usually I can figure out an answer and sometimes (sometimes I'll take a bit too long and someone else would have posted an answer before me x3) I'll post.

Thank you again, and good luck to everyone!
~ Ace

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) December 15, 08
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) As of now 2332
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Every day, especially during the school year (which is starting in a few days for me)
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? generally about three, and I sneak in more when I can. By this I mean that I'm not entirely sure if I'll have a free period in my schedule this year, so that's the amount of time I'll get at home on average. On tough days I'd say 2 hours.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. I have not, though I am a moderator on a smaller level in the League of Extraordinary Pets and it has taught me quite a bit.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes!
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? I do that a lot, almost more than I do the general forums. I love to look through different peoples' styles.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? As much as I love CS and have many times considered applying for a staff position, I never did because I never felt like I would just 'fit.' Oekaki Moderator on the other hand sounds perfect for me, as art has always been my strong point and biggest interest. I practically lived on different oekaki sites before (and after) I found CS, and now that there's one here I spend all my time it seems going from my pets to the forums to the oekaki. This past experience makes me feel at home in the oekaki, which is why the position of oekaki moderator appeals to me more than other staff positions. Being a moderator in the LoEP (League of Extraordinary Pets) worked for me because I could keep the group clean, organized, and therefore happy while not being snobbish or imposing on our members. True, there have been one or two situations that we have had to deal with, but I find with calm explanation of the situation, my action as moderator, and my reasoning, unneeded drama can generally be avoided. Combine my strength and understanding in oekakis and feeling at home as a moderator and I believe that Oekaki moderator would be the perfect position for me.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) A small but useful skill - knowing the difference between a critique and a snarky comment. This goes a long way in dealing with fights in knowing when the artist is not handling the critique and when the comment was unwarranted. I have experience in a few different art programs, which could be helpful on an oekaki.

What date did you register as a CS member?: February 9, 2010
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 5944
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Definitely 7/7. Even when I go out of town, I always find a way to drag myself back online. This is definitely my favorite site <3
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Probably 2+ hours. On specific days, I may only be able to go on at minimum 2, only because I will have family issues going on or I'm out of town. But sometimes I even delay homework for CS ^^

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them No, but I've always been very excited about modding. I long to work with computers as my job, and in college next year I should hope to work for a computer managing degree.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Oh, yes. It's actually one of my favorite things to do on CS. I always look forward to seeing the featured drawings, and I spend most of my time glancing through the beginners' and intermediate's board. ^^ I love to see the creativity there.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? As I said before, most of my time on CS is spent just doing that. I see the works there, and every time I do, I long to get my own works better. It's an inspiration, at the least, to look there :)

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? To be honest I've always wanted to be a moderator. I've always wanted to be a part of the team, and when this was posted up as an oekaki mod, I knew this was what I had to apply for. This is the perfect position for me <3
First of all, I love looking at other people's oekakis. It's a key part of creativity, in my opinion. I will scan for pages and pages through the oekaki boards picking out something I like from every picture I find. I also have a weird habit of, if I see a picture I like, I actually look through all the comments ^^" It's a bit odd, but I feel it'd be helpful in this position.
I also am practically famous where I live for settling arguments. If someone needs advice, I am the person to come to around here 8)
It's always relaxing and a relief to me to settle arguments. It's just so much easier when people get along. ouo
I also just want to work here because I have been a part of the CS community for a while now, and since day one I've been stuck to this place 24/7. I enjoy everything about this site, and it would be so exciting for me to be able to give back just what was given to me. To make this site a better place is always my goal, whether I get this position or not 8) This is an amazing opportunity, and I thank you for letting me apply. ^^

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) Honesty all I can tell you is that I would be the most excited person on the internet to get this job :)
I don't think I have any "skills" in particular, but I do settle arguments quickly, and would love to do nothing else but scroll through the oekaki boards all day long <3 I am also a very quick learner, and I memorize things quickly as well. This would be an amazing job. Thank you so much ^^
