Aww. I love wolves. It seems awful that farmers shoot wolves just to make sure their sheep are ok.. when the sheep are going to be slaughtered anyway! It's like "Would you rather keep a beautiful animal alive or save a few hundred dollars?"

Livestock is far more important to a farmer than some overrated wild animal.

@.:Mook:. I truthfully say this from the bottom of my heart, that if I were a farmer, I would think exactly as I think now. The wolves rightfully were there first, and of course they'd see the livestock as prey animals. We could perhaps move, or put up a large fence. But I would never tolerate the killing of wolves, just because they killed some livestock. It's the food-chain.

@Summerflow: *GASP* (I know Lol, over-exaggerating, and that is your opinion, I just wanted to do that) (And then, this is my opinion C;) THEN DAMN ALL THOSE FARMERS. Truthfully, I can't see how livestock is more important than the wolves. They'll equally important I guess. I soulfully say that the wolves were there first, and it was wrong of the people/farmers to just intrude like that and think that the wolves are just gonna say 'Oh yes, humans are superior, we must let them have this land'. NO. They have the right to it, and no creature is superior over another. To me, wolves are beautiful, soul-lifting, spiritual animals who are fierce, brave, proud, and protective. They love each other like everyone else does. Once, a teacher told us that animals don't have souls. I love that teacher so much and I miss her, but I didn't agree. I say everything alive on earth has a soul, no matter if it's a cockroach or a sea hawk, a termite or a leopard.

Livestock is more important than a wolf to a farmer because livestock is pretty much a farmer's whole life. I'm sure if you were a farmer, you would value your livestock more than a wild animal.
Humans are also the dominant species, so I suppose that DOES make them superior. Is an ant equal to your dog or your cat? I think not.
Wolves are dangerous creatures who are not in the least bit kindhearted, sorry. They are wild animals, you know. But if you think that, no one's stopping you from thinking like that. I just disagree, but everyone does have a right to their own opinion, so i'm not gonna argue much more. c;
