Yeah. Shenzi is awesome. I wonder how Scar first met them? I always thought he ran away from home for awhile to be free of all the hatred and jealously and ran into them.

How do you think Scar got his scar? I think it was Ahadi, who got angry and took it out on Scar/Taka.

Deepest apologies for posting before I'm accepted, but I know the answer to the question of why Scar has his scar, and I feel the need to answer it.

Officially, and according to the books, Taka tried to frame Mufasa - or it was a joke, I can't remember - and he was attacked by a wildebeest, getting slashed over his left eye. He then changed his name to Scar to remind himself of his foolishness. Disney and the Lion King staff have turned down the rumors that Ahadi abused/hit Taka.
