Yeah I really wanted to make a difference when I started this club. I wanted to get the word out about commerical whaling and The Cove in Japan.
Hopefully the horor of both of these stop some day...It is so sad

Its really sad because the Japanese fishermen think the dolphins are pests because they eat 'their' fish. You should read about why the Japanese fishermen slaughter the dolphins in The Cove. This FAQ explains all about The Cove in Taiji Japan, and why the Japanese fishermen do it, when the dolphin hunting season starts, and what they are doing to try and stop it

I was just looking through and I saw what you just posted, the dolphins eat the fish to survive - but the fishermen also eat the fish to survive, they say 'solution! Kill the dolphins.' Now how would those fishermen like it if the dolphins realised the fishermen were eating the fish, and thought 'solution! Kill the fishermen.' Well they wouldn't, just because the fishermen know the dolphins can't do that, doesn't mean they have to right to kill them off ):

Yes that is very true, and thats why I think that is so stupid that the fishermen think they are pests because they eat fish. Like you said, they need fish to survive. I agree with everythin you just said, they are almost taking advantage of dolphins knowing that they can't do anything about the fishermen killing their source of food.

Speaking of dolphins and fish - dolphins have a really smart way of getting to eat them faster. They make a 'bait ball' where the dolphins circle around the fish and then the fish turn into a big ball which makes it easier for the dolphins to catch them. Just thought I could throw out a fact xD Another fact: female dolphins have to eat 15 pounds of fish a day and males have to eat 25 pounds of fish a day~

The fact that Dolphins where here before us and then people like that come aswell and then they take the only thing that dolphins eat most and leave them to starve, and also they expect them not to react fishing=less fish for dolphins which=reaction really do they not think it through.
