"Well you'll have to do the looking part, but yes I can navigate just fine." Nite replied to Belle with a slight smile. She only smiled to hold back the bitterness at not being able to see, sure she knew what was going on, but that didn't even begin to compare with being able to see. She wouldn't really know what she was missing but she would give anything just to be able to see again. That and get rid of her thrice cursed power.

Erica

"Besides out here I can ignore them." Erica added in a very quiet voice as she gestured to the air near her. "Outside is my refuge from what the voices tell me to do." She had no idea why being outside was the way to get rid of the voices but it was. She sighed and braided her hair without releasing what she was doing, it was just something she did habitually now. For some reason it helped her relax. She smiled, "I agree out here is my favorite place too."

"Your welcome." he replied to her with a smile. Jay let her pull away and gave her an encouraging smile, but he had not expected the next thing that had come out of her mouth. His mouth nearly dropped open in surprise, wow that was fast! He thought incredulously to himself. "I uh-," he stuttered, what was he to say. His mind was going blank, and then all his thoughts came back. Duh. "I like you to Amy, I like you a lot." he replied with a sweet smile. Yes he felt the same.

"The outdoors never used to be my favorite place, when I was with my family. It was always either rainning or boiling hot were I lived," he chuckled, looking at the tall concrete walls that surrounded them "But, hell anyway's better than in there." He muttered, guesturing over his shoulder to the building behind them. He didn't like those stone walls, it made him feel like prison, like he actually was a monster that needed to be locked away "I've been here long enough that I half wish they had locked me up in jail... A life sentence, anything but here." he muttered, he would have liked it better if he was thought of as a killer and not a crazy... anything was better than that.

Ali made her way down the hallways with Mark's little hand in her's making her way back to where she had left Daniel. She spotted him up ahead, running a little faster to go and sit beside him, everything was so quiet, everyone seemed to be outside, in their room or getting something to eat. She smiled, sitting down on the bench next to him as he looked down at the book "Manage to make head or tail of the thing?" she asked, she couldn't figure out anything, something about a riddle and candles was as far as she had gotten... they had managed ot figure out the bear, and little Mark seemed reluctant to put the one form her room down. She let go of the childs hand, leaving him to play with the bear... to anyone else who came down the hall it would look like it was floating... Ali was half waiting for someone to come and freak out about it.

"Not much." Daniel muttered.
"Something about a riddle... and I think a candle? It's so faded. I can't even find the riddle." Daniel felt lost. He wondered why every time he answered a question it lead to two more? Especially in this book, were everything seemed to be in riddles.
