Iris(f)
Endless(m)

As Iris walked through the sand on the small beahc she lived by her eyes filled with tears. So many years had gone by since he had left so many memories that would never leave she missed endless way more then he could ever know she heard a bell the one calling for midnight. Her eyes scan across the sandy beach in the darkness of a the knight yes knight she looked down siting in the sand then her head shot up " knight" she said quietly looking at the approaching figure her eyes welled up in tears " oh poor knight you are weary form your travels may i ask of why you are here" she said looking into his purple eyes. And just like magic, a voice that was as smooth as the still water a voice she had not heard in years "Iris it is me Endless but---" he was cut of by a joyous scream from Iris " Endless i thought you died" she said beginning to cry she fell to the ground" how are you here? You are here right?" endless took a breath and sat next to is " i am dead iris i am only here for one day " he looked down sadly " i am so sorry i i love you and wanted to tell you before I disappeared again. I have until midnight tomorrow and then i will be gone once again" Iris's eyes welled up " so this is the last time i can see you" she said Endless nodded " and i am going to make it the best day you every had" he stood up and picked iris up bridle style walking back to the castle being careful not to reveal his wings

@ Redemption;
I actually chose to listen to the music while reading the story, and by the end I was in tears. It was gorgeously written, and the emotions were conveyed so well. I loved it. <3

Fallen [♂] .&. Kanzika [♀]

Here comes goodbye,
Here come the last time,
Here comes the start of every sleepless night
The first of every tear I'm gonna cry. . .

"But I-I can change, I--"
"No you can't, Fallen. You always say you can but you can't." tears trickling down her cheeks, she grabbed her keys, buttoning up her coat.
I realized that there would be no second chance, the door clicking shut as she left.
"I love you." I whispered to myself. I could not stand here, could not just stay still and think about what would have happened if I could've said it sooner. Sitting down on the sofa, I shoved my hand in my pocket, pulling out the velvety blue box. I opened it, my eyes on the diamond ring inside. It dropped to the floor, leaving my view as I had my face in my hands. It shouldn't have been like this. I should've done something, I should've been able to say it sooner... But I was scared. Scared that she wouldn't feel the same. Scared that this exact thing would happen if I did, little did I know that it would happen if I didn't.

One day I thought I'd see her,
With her daddy by her side,
And violins would play
"Here comes the bride"
But here comes goodbye. . .

Years had passed since I last saw her, walking out into the chilly night air and leaving me by myself. I coud not say I had forgotten her, nor could I say I had moved on. But I was able to cope through the daytime, leaving the tears and the wondering for the nights when I was alone. It wasn't so bad around other people. Until one of her friends brought up how she was so happy with this other guy.
I should've been that guy.

Here comes the pain,
Here comes me wishing things had never changed
And she was right here in my arms tonight,
But here comes goodbye. . .

It didn't hurt so much to hear the story of her and this guy. Atleast she'd found some sort of happiness. What really hurt was seeing them together, huddled under an umbrella and gazing at each other with such love in their eyes. They leaned in closer. I turned and began to walk the other way.
That night wasn't good. I had gotten an e-mail invitation to her wedding. Thinking she was insane for sending it while glaring at the poem and the picture of the two, I almost didn't notice the next e-mail. It was from her.
'Sent to wrong person, sorry.'
That hurt. Worse than I thought it would.

There's pictures of you and I on the walls around me
The way that is was and could've been surrounds me
I'll never get over you walking away
I've never been the kind to ever let my feelings show
And I thought that being strong meant never losing your self-control
But I'm just drunk enough to let go of my pain,
To Hell with my pride, let it fall like rain from my eyes
Tonight I wanna cry. . .

Tears rolled down the half-empty bottle of red wine. She had always had some around for the gatherings she often held. Maybe if I couldn't think straight, I couldn't feel the pain. With half the bottle drank, it still didn't go away. My fingers around the bottle, I brought it to my lips again, with hopes that even if the pain didn't go, it could act sort of a numbing to make it less intense.
Now with the liquid completely gone, I didn't know what to do. This pain still cut me like a knife to the heart. How could I make it go away? I glanced at the knife-set on the countertop, a crazy idea striking me. The dead felt no pain. . . As I reached out, my fingers brushing the handle, the doorbell rang. Who on earth would come out at midnight, especially with the rain pounding down? I swallowed hard, before walking over to the door. Her face greeted me, to my surprise. "K-Kanzi?" I stuttered, reaching out to touch her. There was. . . There was nothing. A trick of my mind. The doorbell hadn't rang. She hadn't been there. It was all a mirage. I slammed the door shut, running back to the kitchen.
My hand shook, the tip of the blade poised over my heart. If I was dead, I would feel no pain. There was no way I was ever going to get over her, no way I was ever going to be happy again without her. Taking a deep breath, I hesitated. Nobody would care if I was gone. Nobody.
The last thing I saw before the world went black was the knife, plunged into my chest.

Witnessing him in that hospital bed. . . It made me realize just how foolish I had been. The straight line and the echoing beep from the heart monitor was the focus of my eyes, before they switched to his face. The tears would not stop, pouring down upon him. I touched my hand to his face, gazing at his handsome features, still and lifeless, before whispering the words he had never said but I knew he felt.

"I love you."

(this is so sad i am actually crying now my sotry is not done yet but i know it is not even half as sad or as good as this one and now i miss him no no your him i mean my hium why did i have to rmeber him

that summer she...

Her father had gone in to help her mother with dinner. She stood at the edge of the dock, pole in hand, eyes focused on the glass-like water. Quickly sighing through her nostrils with boredom, she pouted a bit and sunk her feet into the water's edge. Something tickled her toes and she giggled lightly, until her rod began to wriggle and fight with her.
"Hey! Papa! Hey! I got one! I think I got one--"

The water was cold and it filled in her lungs and danced through her nose. It hugged her like a straight-jacked and it got tighter and tighter until the water got lighter and lighter.

But what happens when the people are wrong, and you stuck at the end of a dark...dark road?
How will you survive, knowing that the road only gets more bleak? More black? More alone?

Story?

That familiar pitter-patter of rain. The moist air surrounding her like a dense fog. The smell of fresh rain. Oh the greatest memories she had had of the rain. But tonight was different. Tknight she didn't have the luxury of enjoying the rain. She was walking through a tunnel, it's dimly lit lights, providing her just enough to see a few feet in front of her.
The tunnel was empty, the only thing that could be heard, was the rain pouring down, and the clatter of her feet against the asphalt, which reverberated on the walls.
Tears were flowing from her eyes, and they were blood shot red from lack of sleep. She wondered when things were going to get better. For her life was a disaster. So much pain, so much sorrow, so much regret. No wonder she had given up. Wouldn't you?
When you loose something that you love, you change. Everyone does. But when you loose, everybody, and everything life can be as bleak and as dull as death itself. She sniffled and wiped her tears from her eyes. She had forgotten how long she had been walking. This tunnel seeming to drag on for eternity.
She just figured this was another cruel joke life had thrown at her. This never ending journey of sorrow. She stuffed her hands into her zipped up jacket, they were bitterly cold. She shaking a bit for she was only wearing shorts and a thin jacket. But she didn't care. At least not anymore.
Stricken she was, oblivious to even simple things. Looking up again she saw that she was nearing the end of the tunnel. A cold crisp breeze billowing in and chilling her to the bone. Her teeth clattering but she was determined to walk out into the rain. She muffled another cry of agony by biting her lip. A little blood appearing there.
"where are you going?" she spun around instantly. "who's there?" no reply. She walked alittle faster. " Sarah! Wait!" she peered over her shoulder but no one was there. She was now jogging towards the exit of the tunnel. Afraid and confused. "Don't go out there!" she stopped dead in mid-stride. Then she saw him. "Erik." she muttered. A smile suddenly inching onto her face, but then it was wiped clean. "your not real. You-you died....yesturday." she gulped back the tears again.
"oh Sarah." "No Erik! You...you left me!" she said in anger, in resentment. "Sarah I never left you. I'm right here." Erik moved towards her, touching his hand to her cold cheek. "I'm right here." he said again. Sarah's legs were about to buckle beneath her. So many emotions overpowering her, and seeing Erik was too much. "I'm right here. Shhh...I'm right here." he said hugging her and trying to comfort the shaking sarah. Her arms wrapped tightly around him, rivers flowing from her eyes. Unable to say anything anymore. "I came back, Sarah. But I have to go soon." he said in a painful whisper.
At those words Sarah yanked away. "go? Your leaving me again? You promised you'd always be here for me!" she fell to her knees, gripping her head in her hands, rocking back and forth. Erik rushed to her side. "Sarah. I came back to tell you something." he said, lifting her chin so he could see her eyes. "Sarah, I want you to know. That the accident. It wasn't your fault." he said wiping her tears away again. "it wasn't your fault."

Sarah pulled her face away. "it was all my fault. It's my fault your dead!" she moaned. "no, Sarah don't say that. Please, it wasn't your fault. It was an accident." Sarah stood to her feet. "then if it was an accident why do I feel so guilty?" she asked keeping her eyes away from his. "it's human to feel guilty. But Sarah. It was an accident." Erik said trying to reassure her. But Sarah refused to listen to his reason. She walked towards the waterfall of rain that awaited her only feet away. Erik grabbed her arm. "Sarah please, don't go out there." he begged her, hid grip solid on her wrist. "why? What's out there." Sarah mumbled staring out into the darkness. "please Sarah. Do this for me." he asked, eyes locked on her. Sarah took a step forward. "Sarah, stay in here." "Why should I?" her voice as cold as ice. "Because, I love you". She turned to face him. "then if you love me.....you'll let me go." Erik cringed with her words and already his form was beginning to disappear. "Sarah it's time. It's time for me to go." he said. Sarah shook her head. "then GO!" she said outraged. Then he dissappeared.

Sarah took a deep breath and stepped out into the rain. The cold drops falling onto her. It felt so good, she felt so at peace, so calm, so at ease. She turned around, remembering Erik, who she had just forgotten about. "Erik!" she called. "Erik." he voice was stifled by the rain. Her eyes went downcast, and then the sorrow hit her again.
Then the horn shouted out through the rain . The chug against the train rails, and then....all she remembered
was the bright light.....

|People always say there is a light at the end of the tunnel|

For her, the light, was for her end. The end of her life. And the beginning of her journey to a place, far beyond earth and her sorrows. Far beyond her pain and her suffering. That light was her freedom, and now she truely is free......of all her burdens. Forever.

Aww that was so sad, and yet I knew it was coming. I had the feeling there would be a play on the light at the end of the tunnel, and yet I was hoping all the same that there wasn't. Good job
