@aquamarine, i love Up! its a great movie.

You can't call murder if it's an accident... just saying.
Aquamarine: Lovely. I've never seen the movie Up, but I understand the beginning is a tear-jerker.

Adele - Someone Like You
refresh for items~ a break from the spaciness of my last story c:
ImageImage

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded
That for me it isn't over

It's funny how a love for a tyrant can stay aflame, even if what he did was hurtful. Of course, life, being a flame burning brightly -
There're the blue hues, the orange ones, the red, and the yellow; they each dance in a different way. Each are bad, at the same time beautiful in the way they warp time and the hourglass for the better. Or the worse, if that's how you see it. It's perfectly acceptable to see life as an ugly thing, because clearly that's what it is.

Something that's only bound to end is something that can't be trusted very well, now can it?

Her palm was pressed against the thick slab of stone. It was gray and slimy, due to the rain, and at the same time it was smooth with memories and soft with heart. The rain was slipping onto her clothes and sitting pretty, leaving her sopping wet, but it was all the same with fire. Rain was translucent though - you couldn't keep secrets from it, and it in turn only knew the truth. Perhaps that's why it always comes at the times where it's most acceptable.

Nothing compares
No worries or cares
Regrets and mistakes
They are memories made
Who would have known
How bittersweet this would taste?

A piano serenaded her in the background, and she pretended to ignore the car engine revving up. Pressing her forehead against the cool surface, she attached herself to it. "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead." The velvet voice came and went with the piano, allowing her to shut off her tears; they had been coming down like the raindrops.

His wife stood firmly behind her.

I heard
That you're settled down
That you found a girl
And you're married now

Twisting her ebony hair in her fingers, she cleared her throat to gain the mistress' attention. "He'll remember you more than he'll think of me, way up there." The younger turned and faced the woman in a white cloak, which shrouded her from the rain. Her face was streaked with blue - her tears, they were not translucent like the rain - and for the first time in her life, the one who did wrong felt guilt.

Her mother had abandoned her, the runt. She had never known love. So many names she had, and none of them she understood. One day, a woman with hair as black as coal picked her up and carried her home."I'll take care of you." The dog didnt know what to do. She yipped once and curled up into a ball.
*several months later*

The dog had heard a word several times."Apartment." She didnt understand the humans, but she knew what this word meant. Time to leave. She was just a puppy, but still, she knew. The next day, she went into a box. THe box moved, and got soved into someplace cool. She felt vibrations.I must be in the moving chariot. She held still, waiting. Waiting for... What? THe vibrations stopped, and the box movved again. She waited still, but instead of getting abandoned, she heard a bell. A voice spoke."Hey, Autumn, is this the puppy you were talking about?" "Yeah. Tell bri Mariah says hi." THe box moved again, but this time a child opened the box.

*Several years later*

Anastazia, Stazi for short, got chained down with a tether."Dont worry. I wont leave you forever, Stazi." Stazi whimpered, the alpha human was dying. After she heard the chariot leave, car-as the humans called it, She layed down in her dog house. Suddenly, she heard a crunch in the gravel. Several teenagers walked around the dog. They tied the tether down tighter, while others moved the water and food away. After hours had passed, the girl arrived home.

She ran to her backyard to greet the dog with good news but instead, she found a dead dog."Stazi!" THe girl ran over, tears welling in her eyes. One of the neighbors came over, hearing her sobs."Whats wrong, bri?" "They killed her." THe girl suddenly started shouting in the limited spanish she knew,(which i will translate)"How dare you!!! She never hurt anyone!" She sobbed again.

A few years later, the girl saw one of the teenagers again. He asked her how much spanish she knew. She replied,"Enough to call you a pendejo asesino."

This is a true story of how my beautiful mutt got killed. I'm not sure how much of the begining is accurate, but i know everything from the opening of the box to the last words is absolutly correct.

@To everyone who commented and/or sends kind regards -

Thank you all, so much! I would've swore, but I was younger and I had rather not have made them angry at the time. I insisted to my mom that we should get them arrested, but as Space Ferrari said, a judge wouldn't count it as their fault.

I do, though.

Since then, I went to the local Pound because I was tired of not having my own little companion. Two kittens were there - A dark-colored tabby male and silvery-black tabby female. Brother and sister, these two were all alone. They had three other brothers/sisters, but they had all perished. The mother of the kitten lived on a farm. Once he learned that his cat had had kittens, he shot her between the eyes (Wow, I'm really drawn to kitties with sadness in their lives xD). Someone had seen that, and reported him. The kittens were confiscated from him and brought to the Pound. They didn't think any of the kittens would survive without their mother's milk. Three of them didn't.
I was immediately just drawn to the little female. She was so troublesome. She reminded me of Midnight in her behavior. I wanted her. However, we could not take her home until the day after, seeing as she had to pass a vet check. The next day, I felt really bad about leaving her brother all alone. It was like destiny next - Her brother was literally just being taken home by another family as we arrived to get her! We took her home, and she was quite scared. She would not go anywhere close to anyone - Except for me. I gave him the name Nikia (which is now just Kia xDD) and I've blown away the vets by proving their assumption that she would perish wrong! She's almost a year old now, but she still acts like just a tiny little kitten. The runt of her family, she's still really tiny for her age, but she's healthier than ever. She isn't allowed outside, though, so the only reason for her death will be peaceful and due to the fact that she had lived her happy life as long as possible.

Do you believe in miracles? This is a story chock full of them. Purity was born with the power of wish granting. So long as someone whispered their heart’s desire she could grant it if she felt the need to. She had been born with a coat as black as the night sky, but as she aged it faded down to a gleaming white. She knew she wouldn’t last forever and decided to have a little fun before she left the world. Searching for days, Purity wandered the vast land and searched for her successor. As a wish granter grew old a new one was born, alas her own mentor had died before telling her how to find their student. One day a light feeling overwhelmed her and she headed towards the East. Something called to her there.

After weeks and weeks she arrived at a town called Thortun City. A boy dressed in a white cloak with lace hems sat there, as if waiting. A strange kinship formed between the two and she knew he had to be the one. Sadly Sony was a sickly boy with many ideas. He had contracted an incurable disease known as “Peter Pan Syndrome.” He would never grow up to be a man. Still, Purity taught him all she knew.

Sony was an intelligent boy and learned quickly. Sometimes Purity would get so tired that she would simply teach him to carve wooden dolls. All Sony felt like doing was tinkering. He enjoyed the feel of metal and nails and made all sorts of fancy contraptions. The day Purity died though he honored her by building a magnificent puppet dog and then went to catch a soul. This was a secret the boy had never told his master. He could see souls floating about. They were blue-white and gleamed with power. He coaxed a soul to follow him.

“Come with me,” he whispered softly. A soul’s voice is very loud in actuality. It echoes throughout your whole body when it talks to you.

“No. I’m trying to find a body,” the soul replied. Its voice was hollow and deep as a male’s.

“I have a body for you,” Sony said slyly. The soul then agreed to follow along and when they approached the wooden dog Sony shoved it in. The dog opened its squeaky eyes looked around wildly.

“Fool! This is no body. This is merely wood!” He yelled in outrage.

After many years Sony himself was starting to grow old and the wooden dog took pity on him. Although Sony had tricked him they had spent many years together and with the body he had Sony had given him the gift of eternal life. Or so he thought.

“Soul, what is your name?” Sony asked one day. His voice no longer brimmed with youth and sunshine. It was cracked and raspy. His fur was white. The wooden dog stared down at his companion. Sony had, even with his small stature, seemed to overpower him. Now it was as if he could barely stand on his own.

“Why do you need to know?” The puppet asked.

“To bind you for eternity. When I die you shall also perish unless I know your name. Tell me. Tell me your name.”

    “Thomas.”

“Thomas,” Sony’s eyes turned a bright white, “I give you the gift of eternity. Goodbye, my friend.”

Sony was the last wish granter to roam the Earth for he had broken an important law. Eternity was a wish that couldn’t be granted without severe consequences. Thomas didn’t know that though and spent the rest of his life looking for a wish granter. He felt he owed it to his old chap who had considered him a friend. Thomas roamed the world, searching in every crook and nanny, for that source of magic.

There was a storm. Thunder crackled overhead and rain poured down as if in a fury. Thomas panicked. He was wood and soggy wood wouldn’t move. His nails would rust. He ran into a mansion, not even stopping to notice that the howling wind didn’t just come from outside but from the inside as well. As soon as he stepped inside his joints started to burn. The nails were wet and his body was turning useless. He froze in place and time.

Thomas didn’t know how long he had been at rest but he was no longer. A familiar sound awoke him from his deep sleep. A hammer banged into his back, replacing the nails that no longer functioned. The soft humming comforted him greatly.

“Sony?” He called, still half asleep. Had his master returned?

“Wrong! It’s Ellie, dear. Short for Elizabeth. You’ve been asleep for quite awhile,” there was a high pitch giggle. Much higher than any girl he had heard before. Then a perfect copy of “Once Upon A December” played.

“You sing well,” he complimented, still not opening his eyes for fear that they would be nailed shut.

“I’m not singing,” she replied as the song continued to play, “can’t you tell? Oh, honey, open your eyes. I promise nothing’s wrong with them.” She sighed and Thomas slowly peeled his eyelids apart. In front of him sat not the damsel he expected, not even an old mistress, but a metal dog. His jaw dropped as he gaped in surprise.

“What? You haven’t seen a dog like me before? I guessed that with your own body you’d be one to judge so quickly for something like this but I assume I was wrong,” she huffed, but continued to fix him up. Thomas swallowed.

“It’s not like that… miss… I was simply surprised. I didn’t think that anyone would be so similar to me,” he muttered self-consciously. She laughed and gave him a hard whack on the shoulder. Thomas cringed even though he felt no pain. The loud noise left plenty up to the imagination.

“Come along,” she called and headed off, “your joints are fixed. Let’s play a game of Poker, shall we?”

He followed the robot dog in the white dress as if in a trance. It had been many a years since he had the company of another being, even one as strange as she made him happy. They played games for hours and talked afterwards. He found out many things about her. Her soul had gotten lost and was knocked into the metal body. Her hair was originally brown but had faded over the years. She was a champion at Go Fish. He in turn told her about his journey. About Sony and how he was to honor a dog he had never met. At Sony’s name she had jumped a bit and when he asked her why she said she didn’t rightly know. Something about that name just seemed familiar for a strange reason.

Spending time with Elizabeth became Thomas’s favorite thing to do. He forgot all about wish granters when he was with her and once he thought he felt Sony’s voice telling him to just live. To forget and move on. Thomas didn’t know if he imagined it or not but took the advice. He and Ellie became close friends. They would chat for hours and play with the ghosts and bats. Go out into town in the midst of the night and steal some snacks.

One day they took a trip to the forest. Thomas sprawled across the grass and gazed at a rose bush nearby. He glanced over at Ellie to see her dancing and laughing, white cloth spinning around her paws. It was then he realized something, he loved her. He truly and utterly adored the metal dog in front of his eyes. Without a thought he plucked a rose with his mouth and padded over.

    “I love you.”

It was short and simple and straight to the point. Ellie stopped dancing and stared at him. A mixture of emotion swirled in her eyes. It was too much for him to read and suddenly a sense of reality returned to him. Nervousness filled him up from head to toe and his heart pounded. What was she thinking?

    “I love you.”

She said, smiling at him and took the rose in her own mouth. Thomas let out a breath of relief and fell back into the grass. “Thank you, Sony, for this gift,” he thought to himself and maybe, just maybe there was the snarky reply of his long time friend. “You better be. I don’t know if you’ve realized but look, I’m dead!”

    ---

I got bored one day and dressed up Fringe's pets. I've had Ellie and Thomas in mind for a while but have been too lazy to do them. Purity and Sony are just kind of randomly made up. I wrote this at around 3 A.M. whilst running off no sleep so don't judge me |D

;u; I wish I could write more but I didn't want to drag down the whole page </3

Posting this on Fringe's account since they're her pets.

Amazing story! I felt like reading a fantasy novel. ^^

Your story is amazing! :D
I'm a returning player after many years so I am highly desiring pets of any rarity from 2012~2013 to 2018! I generally judge on appearance although I'll also lean towards rarer ones naturally, so my trading rules are pretty flexible I think? I'm a bit rusty so I might not know a lot of current lingo but I encourage fairness and respect in any interactions. :)

Pet's name: Maggie
Adopt virtual pets at Chicken Smoothie!

Abandoned.

Left out in the blistering sun. 5 months old in the most treacherous place in the world. Thrown out of a moving car like a piece of trash. Sliding to a hault on the blazing hot asphalt, she whimpered. Fresh cuts already on her frail skin. She stood up slowly, noticing other humans there, but now she was dreadfully terrified. They tried to call her over, the humans did. They tried to bribe her with food, but she ran the other way, afraid they would hurt her, like other humans did.

But the humans persued her, to the edge of a cliff. It went down over three miles, and the rocks she was standing on were loose. Maggie refused to go back to the humans, so she ventured further onto the edge, out of the humans grasps.

It was getting hotter as the day grew later in the afternoon. Panting from exhaustion, and tiredness she collapsed on the edge. Not remembering what happened next she awoke to find herself in a cage, moving in a car to somewhere.......

Story Is about my dog who was rescued from the grandcanyon when she was abandoned at 5 months to die. Love you maggie^^
