Update: There have already been 6 deaths in NC and 2 in VA... it's awful! This little kid was in his house when a tree fell through the roof and killed him
that's just heartbreaking. This storm is serious... I'm glad I live in Colorado, well away from the hurricanes! (I just get tornados and rain instead XD)
Irene has moved out of the Carolinas even though it can still be felt in NC, it's just focusing on Virginia now... be careful you guys and don't get killed!!!

As much as I love it here, CS is taking up a lot of my life. It is for this reason that I will be forever leaving during the 1st week of December. My Grandparents talked to me earlier today (they live in DC) and they said they were getting ready. I haven't heard from them yet. I hope they are ok!

My mom and step-dad are on their anniversary in Rhode Island, and I am begging them to come back to Nevada, but they don't seem concerned! I don't want to lose them.

@Bat:yeah i live in ma luckily it wont be hitting us bad since the winds dropped so dont worry...we're only 30min. from rhode island i made a picture based on hurricane irene.@kittylover22:my dad was a fisherman he fished in this weather andalmost lost his life many times...then he was a coast gaurd and saved other fishermen
