Huh, OK, my apologies if it was a joke.
I have an excellent sense of humor, I'm very immature, but I thought you all were being not half way serious, not kinda serious, not 5% serious, but guns blazing going to go and murder people dead serious.
I've seen TONS of people who are dead serious, I mean beyond dead serious. :s And it creeps me out to no end.
So, at this point, I usually assume people who say that are guns blazing serious. I've seen so much of it on dA it scares the ever loving crap out of me. >.>;
Apologies again. XD;

Yes they are overpopulated. It's common knowledge. Look at Alaska, I believe that the main reason that it's legal to hunt wolves there is because they're really overpopulated.
For example, there are 50,000 to 60,000 wolves in Canada alone.
Sorry if it was a joke, i've just seen so many people acting serious about it.

Why... why would anyone be acting serious about it on CHICKENSMOOTHIE? It's a freakin' kid website. Sorry if you didn't know, but seriously, common sense please? It's Chickensmoothie, not some adult website.
Sorry if I seemed harsh... but really? >_>
Wolves are not endangered, and it is better for them to be hunted to keep the population down otherwise they would eat all their prey then die out sooner or later, faster than the prey could reproduce.

Greys don't need help, they're not endangered, and need to be culled every so often to keep them healthy and away from humans.

You said we
SHOULD. That implies you believe we actually
should.Tala Lakota wrote:and what does English hav to do with anything
Animals cannot speak English, nor any other language; you asked, "who says I'm human?"
Tala Lakota wrote:and summer, grey wolves rn't over populated, before we took over they covered the almost all the mainland of north america and now they don't even hav a 3rd of it
Yet they still are in the hundreds of thousands in Canada alone.
and if we weren't killing all their prey off they wouldn't need to come into cities to find food
Deer/elk can get overpopulated as well, however when that happens we cull a specified number, as we do with greys. They bounce right back after every hunting season; if they didn't why would we keep killing more?

I didn't know people joke around about killing people.

Alright, now let's get back to the book topic, okay?
Soo, Never Cry Wolf sounded interesting, so I looked it up, and It seems to be cool. I've also read a few pages, and it's very well written so far.

I believe I've read Never Cry Wolf before :3
Hmm...Has anyone read 'Raised by Wolves'? I found it to be a pretty good book, and just got the second one today.
Nightshade wasn't that bad either, but I liked 'The Wolves of Mercy Fall's' better x3
Fairwell Chickensmoothie! It was a good run.
If there is anyone who I unfortunately left any loose ends open with when I originally disappeared from the site near the end of 2012, you're welcome to drop a PM if you'd like to try to resolve them. It has admittedly been far too many years for me to remember precisely what all may have been left unsettled.
In addition, if anyone sees this and would like to try to reestablish contact, you're more than welcome to drop me a message as well. I'll try to poke my head in over the next few months at the least in case any of the above happens, but cannot guarantee how often messages will be checked after that.

Has anyone here read Wolves of the Beyond?
I really want to read it because it's supposed to be like my favorite series - Warrior Cats, but I don't know if it's any good.
So many wolf books to buy, I've never heard of any of these titles /feelsstupid/. DX -scribbles them down-

I've read Wolves of the Beyond before. It can be really unrealistic at some parts, but it is a good series. Though it is one of those books that hardly contain real facts about wolves.

I've read the first book, but haven't found the second one yet to 'Wolves of the Beyond' ;w; I liked it a lot, though.
