So if any of you didn't know, my favorite animal is the unicorn.
And I don't mean those silly horses with horns. I mean good ol' medieval unicorns with lion's tails, cloven hooves, and the like.

So when I saw this pet:

I was in love. :3
I usually give my extra rats to a friend of mine. Not these guys. I'm really happy that they're very common. Makes 'em easy to get. ^^

It's also a good thing I wasn't an artist for illuminated manuscripts back in the eight hundreds. :B I've wanted to do something with this theme for a long time, but it never seemed to click until today.

FFF- This is awesome. I love the unicorn rats too (but the black and white/silver one is my favorite) and I really want to read that story, now. xD

@gemini_girl: Thank you. :3 Though I suppose that there's no "correct" way for their depiction, the more deer-like ones are definitely what I prefer. :3

@Snow: XD Thank you very much. The first part was just a quickly written poem. To be honest, the rest on the other page are just random words. It was supposed to be the story of a great battle between the good and evil, white and black unicorn rats.
I am fond of those as well, as they're quite pretty. ^^ Design wise, I like them the most, though there's a special spot left for the white one. :3
