Iz started crawling off him, carful not to move her legs so she wouldn't hit him in the bad place. She sat at her desk and put her hair up in a clip.
It's lonely to be more powerful than any man you know and have to live like a shadow. To be special and have to pretend you're a fool. You feel trapped. Like your whole life has been planned out for you and you have no control over anything, and sometimes you don't even know if what destiny decided is...really the best thing at all.

She tossed a rubber ball at the wall, playing a game of catch. She leaned back in the chair. She threw the ball a little too hard and she tried to catch it. Instead, she fell over, making a huge racket.
