Not necessarily a rant I suppose but an observation.

I defiantly agree with you, i haven't been to the fair trade thread yet, but it sounds really bad. In my opinion, i think this is a better way to get advice.

I see one particular rat I have on every single wishlist, but I can't get myself to try to choose some pets I'd want in exchange for it, because I'm afraid that, even though it has been said to be worth a balloon dog, the other person will go "This is TOTALLY UNFAIR RAWR RAWR RAWR."
I don't want the rat, but I'm scared to try to trade it off.

Now, I'm not entirely sure how fair/unfair, but I think my '08 uncommon is worth more than a few '10 and '11 common and uncommons. =/

Yeah, well, it really depends on who's answering. If it's someone who actually knows what they're talking about, then yeah, it's not bad. But I've lurked on there a few times, and some of the responses I saw made me *facepalm*. -.-
