That reminds me of a funny story: When my brother was little, he went to sit on Santa's lap at a department store. Every kid wanted Power Rangers or a toy truck or something. What did my brother ask for? A mongoose.

Kat wrote:I beg to differ but the point is, no living thing should be labeled as a "meat" animal. Would you like to be labeled as that? Not trying to be gross or anything but cannibalism is a natural thing in some countries and occording to them, we taste just like ham. That doesn't mean we can be thought of as meat animals though because for some odd reason we think ourselves superior to other species that are scientifically proven to be stronger and much less weak than the so-called 'top of the food chain" humans.
Either way, once the animal is done living out it's producing life, it should be let to live out the rest of it's days, not brutally slaughtered.

Agreed, moving on.

I wish someone would give me a goat for Christmas too. lol
dogfancy0 wrote: And the whole thing about "meat animals"
we domesticated them, and basic desgined them to be docile and full of muscle/fat . They were not there originaly so technicly they are "meat" animals. And "live out it's producing life" all it's live is producing muscle so it will be eaten =/[/size]

Which is funny because I would actually kill for Santa to give me a baby goat. I'm 16
