Rainbow nodded, "It wasn't as bad as you but my mate got killed by humans." She said.

Chad smiled and wagged his tail. He barked happily and buried his head into her fur, happy to be so close with the one he loved.

"Oh. I guess that's kind of like my situation." Zyx relented. "I could say I have a mate, but I know I don't." Zyx lowered his eyes. "I sneaked back after I was exiled, and she already has a new mate. And she's pregnant." He added angrily, growling.

Lily growled again and pushed her head against Chad's affectionately.

Rainbow knew he was angry so she turned and started to walk away slowly.
