Zasshu's Name: Kinn
Zasshu's Gender: Male
Personality: Energetic, cheerful, imaginative, youthful, friendly, easy-going, optimistic
Zasshu's Background(Must at least be 1 paragraph): Kinn opened his eyes. Well this wasn't right. Sitting up, he found himself in the middle of a field. Hm. Well okay then. Having no recollection of how on earth he'd managed to fall asleep there, he looked around, trying to find something familiar. Nothing. Frowning, he stood up and shook his head. And then he realized something. He did know where he was. It was just... different. Tree stumps jutted from the ground in every direction, and the softness beneath him was not grass, but fallen leaves. But that ridge over there, just off to his right... well. At least he knew where he was now. He had to admit though, it looked so different without all of the trees. Brushing some of the dirt and dust off of himself, he took one last look before trotting off. His family was probably around here somewhere, and he really out to find them. He was a bit young to be looking after himself, and he was really hoping he could play a game with his older sister, Senaida. She didn't like to play with him much, though. But it was okay. He didn't really mind.
It took him a few days to really come to terms with things, but finally, Kinn realized that he wasn't going to see his family again. He didn't know where they'd gone, but he at least knew that there was a chance they were still alive, wherever they were. Sometimes he missed Senaida, and his parents as well, but he was certain they were doing okay. He couldn't really say why, but he was pretty sure they were alive somewhere. And that was all he needed. Over time, his memories of the clear-cutting came back. He'd fallen from the tree as they were trying to escape, and that was why he'd been out cold for the majority of it. From what he guessed, he thought he was probably out for at least a day or two, maybe even longer. Again, he really didn't know.
Somehow, though, he never really did feel sad about the whole thing. Yeah, he lost his home and his family, but that didn't mean life was over. He could still look up and see a bright blue sky. He could still smile at the butterflies passing overhead. He could still run and play to his heart's content, and collapse in a pile of leaves and twigs when he was too tired to run anymore. Kinn didn't really mind living by himself. He made a lot of friends moving around, anyway. Everyone was really nice to him. And even though he had a lot of fun playing with other Zasshus, he mostly liked the times when he could just wander on his own. He liked to imagine that he was a spy, or a gigantic monster, or sometimes even a king. This way, he got to stay young forever. Which he had to admit, was a pretty nice way to live.
