Yeah, something like that. I think they are a bit related to wolves, but more closely related to another species... Just as Hyenas are more closely related to cats than to wolves.

Meh, i'm a bit uneducated on Maned Wolves, so i'll talk to my best friend, google, who knows everything about what the answer is.
And Google says that it's not closely related to a Wolf, or a Fox, but somewhere in between.

Maned wolves aren't related to foxes too much either, I think they're their own species, or belong to a different genus.

i just went to the wolf center on friday(3 days ago) and heard that there was no wolf attacks well no record of wolf attacks from wolves that where healthy.i would just like to share that.and also when i was driving to my cousins i saw a wolf on the road he/she was a gray wolf and was alone and it looked stressed but im happy i saw it

Not suprised it's stressed. If it lives in a pack, it was separated from them, and it's by somewhere that has loud noises and bad smells, if it's a lone wolf, mostly because of the smells and noises.

Then those people are liars. There have been plenty of wolf attacks on humans by wolves that were healthy.
