My Beating Heart

My shacking muscles.
My dry mouth.
My trembling paws.
My beating heart.
I watch from afar.
My eyes fixed on one thing,
The only thing I saw at that moment.
Trying to gain courage,
To finally say something to my love.
Her dusted coat,
Her beautiful eyes,
The way she walked,
And the way she talked.
How she moved through a crowd,
And everyone would stop and stare.
How she talked,
Like she was a princess of some far away land.
She laughed with her friends,
Laughing and joking,
By the old fountain where she always was.
The sun beating upon her,
Making her glow.
She seemed like an angle,
That no one could ever get.
I sit under the great tree,
Watching her every move.
Wishing she was mine,
Hoping I could say even a little something to her.
They turn to walk away,
As they do she turns.
She looks into my eyes,
Stopping as she does.
She smiles her perfect smile,
Then looks away.
My beating heart,
Shakes my body.
My legs,
My paws,
Now numb.
My paws are pounding the ground,
Bounding to her.
Before I know it,
I’m next to her.
She giggles,
And curls her tail in mine,
And leans into me.
Everyone stares,
Never had anyone seen her with any guy.
I was lucky,
More than that.
I was the luckiest cat alive.Ohmaigosh! You made a story! It's amazing.
