I agree, to use the lesser recongized species. So I'm going to look up more breeds of unknown wolves.

I think that Summerflow's idea is great, but I was just thinking now that, all though everyone loves Ethiopian wolves, a lot of people have heard of them and red wolves has the same thing. So what if we used lesser known breeds of wolf? And Xantie might be right, with all of the different breeds it is a bit complex. :?

It does have a Vancouver island wolf, so it does have a bit of not very well known breeds in it... I could also do a simple cross between a Vancouver Island wolf and a Iberian wolf, if you think my original idea is too complex. Or I could do a Caspian Sea wolf cross between a Himalayan wolf or something...

I love the pictures Summer they're amazing and really cute, and I love the necklace.
I think that the mascot (in my opinion) should be a wolf that is sort of a rare seen wolf, one that less people know of. I know a few of you have already mentioned this and I totally agree.
I would say a Himalayan wolf because they are beautiful (like all wolves, of course x3) and I think that less people know about them.
But that is just my opinion.

I actually thought that it was too big, hehe. The Necklace size doesn't matter, just as long as the wolf can actually stand up with it. xD

Maned wolves aren't wolves, though. I forget what they actually are, but I know they're not wolves. o3o

Well, I thought I'd heard somewhere (That I can't remember. ) that they were wolves, but just barely, and that it was being put into scientific investigation as to what category it should be in. OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

Yeah, something like that. I think they are a bit related to wolves, but more closely related to another species... Just as Hyenas are more closely related to cats than to wolves.
