It's really nice ~ (Sorry If I'm sounding bossy, but everyone's not really putting up stories anymore. XD)

Ummm, yes. I know that. XDDD If I didn't, I'd be crazy. What I meant is that alot of people are posting stories, but they don't say what they learnt from it. Anyway, I guess it doesn't really matter if you're not bothered. :o

Gillmore (Mini-Pins)

When I was small, we were going on our way home from my mom's friend's house. Straight down the road, there was a barn. I had been told there was kittens! The lady, who was the friend's mom, showed us the very shy family who was darting away. There was a very small one that I liked. The lady put out some deer meat and a kitten came rushing forward. Of course, he was very shy, but the smell of food overcame is fear. I picked him up when he was chowing down and put him in a kitty-carrier, then took him home.

Mini-Pins grew up to be a great freind. He was white-"He got so scared he tured white!"s said dad- and he had long fur. He had some black on his head and his legs, a black spot on his hip, and a long black tai.. His eyes were green and his meow exeedingly cute.

One day, I was in a corner, crying. He came by, and rubbed againsst me and purred, telling my a thusand words, and there were many times like this that followed. Every time I come to pet him, he kisses me and purrs. He is like a brother to me. I love him very much. And he lives on, being my closest friend.

I learned that when you lose something you love, you should do the good thing for evryone, and, not you

I'm sorry. ):
My dog, Max, nearly had to be rehomed because he bit my brother, but Max had teething pain, and my brother was trying to force feed him a leftover muffin when Max clearly didn't want to eat it. I'm sorry about your dog.

What i learned from My Dog.

I learnt that Old dogs Can't ever be old if you belive in them.

Jazzie's Story.

When we were walking along the beach we saw a little dog walking around alone.
I picked her up and took her to the police,

Months went by and nobody claimed her so the police contacted us and asked if we'd like her.

And thats where i got my Beloved jazzie from.

She's 14yrs old now.
And belive it or not she's running around the room shasing a house fly :D

Jazzie does that...... when she's not busy chasing house-flies

There is no other story like that of a "pet", but I dare not label them that. Sure, they can be simple or complicated, whichever it is. Yet all of them have a meaning.

My parents had a 1 year old rat terrier named Max when I was born. Sadly, he got jealous of the attention given to me and we had to give him to my mother's parents. (He's still around. I really hope he lasts until our visit back to the states, I love him so much. Thinking about him and his last year makes me break down ;u;)

So, 5 years go by. We have to move from Hawaii to my grandparent's house while my dad is stationed in Japan for a year. In the time period, I bonded with Max so much, and ever since he's been my long-distance brother. After the year passed, we moved to SC for another 3 year tour. By second grade, I had all my friends taken away because I had to get glasses. And then I got attached to my Mom's cousin's yorkie; Higgins, or Higgy for short. He's practically my cousin, and my dog thinks that he's her cousin, too. (No, really .__.)

I obsessed saying "Mommy, mommy, we have to get a doggy like Higgins! We can even name her Abbigale May, so that she has my same initials! Ooh, ooh, and we can call her Abbie for short so that it rhymes with my name!" I can remember saying all that when we stopped to get our mail. So, Higgin's owner (call her A for short, at the moment) went and contacted who I think is distant family of hers. Their yorkie and someone else's - Tia and Trevor - had puppies, four of them. I was so excited when we visited A, because we got to go up there to see them. (We also took one or two of my distant cousins :P)

We got inside, and I was more excited than you could imagine. We sat down on the middle of the floor beside the blanket the puppies were on. The little fat, wobbly-legged pups came crawling to us with little whiney noises. A little boy came over and sat beside me. Then a female came over, pushed him out of the way (literally) and tried to climb up on my folded legs. I picked her up and put her on my lap, and I just knew it was her. You know that time when you look at someone or something, and there's an irresistable pull? Yea. It was that.

I was near tears when we were leaving, as my mom said "I'll think about it, I'll think about it, no promises." And you want to know why I was near tears? She was following us out the door. She didn't care if she was hobbling on stubby little leggs - she was going home with me one way or another.

Yea. One or two months later, we knew we were getting her. During the month of my birthday.

Since we lived in SC, and A lived up north, we had to meet half way on the edge of a high way. I..that was the best day of my life. Possibly one of the most magical things you could ever see. It's...so funny because she was all tiny and fluffy with wild hair, just a little girl, and as was I. There is a picture, the one I've cherished my entire life, of me holding her, both of us looking at each other. There's nothing that could ever top it. Ever. If there was a fire and I was home alone with her, I would save her before me. I would do anything for her, she's my sister. I dare not say I'm an only child anymore, for it would break her little canine heart. She is my everything.

My sister is my life. People often say "Sissy? I thought her name was Abbie?" because my family refers to me/her as "sissy" because of how close we are. She's my mom's and dad's "furbaby". She responds to my parents as Mommy and Daddy. When she was little, she would bark at herself in the mirror because - we honestly believe - that she thought she was a human and "What is that CREATURE?!" Abbie would save me in a heartbeat. Or try to, at least. If my curtain-door moved because of the air vent, she would growl at it, investigating for me. When that weird sound (which we still dont know what it was <.<) came from my room, she made sure it was safe first. Tiny but mighty, she is.

Here she is as a puppy.

What I've learned from her? There is no such thing as a pet. Never call them a dog, you'll break their hearts. She is just...my world. She's nearly died three or four times from pancreatitis - you have no idea how much my mom and I cried when the vet told us that if she had another episode, she could die. Every morning and every evening we would check on her at the vet's office, for 20 minutes at a time. I can understand her. I love her. She looks me in the eye and asks me, tells me her troubles, asks for my troubles. I've learned that no one can top the love of a non-human animal.

Aww, Abbie is a lovely girl. <3

I just want to share here since Shadow's story was posted- I am getting another starling next week. She will be spoiled rotten, and I already am totally smitten, and I've never even seen a photo of her. She is a year old hen, not tame, whom I am having shipped up here from Kansas just so I can spoil her to death. I am so excited- she's already really important to me.
