made a mistake this morning. just joined the other day 'cause wife wanted someone to trade with during advent. well-known membr sent trade out of blue for card lions and advent 2gn dog. hit edit, removed untradeables, sent message back that i only trade lions for lions. other member took all three pets that were left in as items id trade and didnt even send thank you. have pmed twice now asking to have trade undone. really irritated that someone would take advantage of a new member like this. dont even want those particular lions - its the principle of the thing.

will bring to mod attn if trade not undone by morning. member is frequent poster here - checked - so giving a public warning to be fair.

Not that I don't want trades but people keep asking for rabbits and it SAYS on the group NO TRADE EVER and people often send me the worst trades EVER for them and I often think: so that means rare pets means very common? OK I will have your rares for my commons!
Ha ha ha I find it funny but I would trade a rabbit if I had a double and it was a good offer.

I traded myself a nice Wood Wing today. But then i got a message from that pretty famous old member, who said, that this pet was stolen from her and i need to give it back. By stolen, she meant that she sent her wood wing away with a trade, asking for the other persons offer (blank trade). The other person accepted and traded the dog later away - to me
And now that member is sending me messages, like "I will get that dog back" and "I will report you" and she wants me to give that dog to her
Help me, do i really have to give her that dog? She is one of my dream pets and I traded a bunch of other pets to get her

It's her own mistake, and the dog is fairly yours. You by no means HAVE to give it back to her, regardless of reports. She should not have sent a blank trade if she didn't want to trade the pet. Period. It wasn't stolen it was given away by accident. Now if her account had been HACKED and the pet STOLEN that would be different.

The trade buttons are COLOR coded. It's plain to see that if the button is GREEN your accepting. Now, if you feel bad for her, and want to trade the dog back to her for a fair offer that's your choice. But from the sound if it she's being pretty rude.

You have done nothing wrong and shouldn't feel forced to do anything.
If you feel nice enough, you might want to trade it back for exactly what you gave for it, or something equally valuable, but only if you want to. :/

You have done nothing wrong and shouldn't feel forced to do anything.
If you feel nice enough, you might want to trade it back for exactly what you gave for it, or something equally valuable, but only if you want to. :/

This exactly. While I fully support a policy against scamers, you have done absoluetly nothing wrong. If this user continues to harass you, report them to a mod yourself and put them on your foes list. No one has a right to bully you into something you don't want to do.

Oh and I just got the weirdest cancellation message just earlier. :/ I was trying to offer for their spare lion cub, so I understand that one might not want to give it away, but...

Then they sent me over five trades (empty on their side) for different pets.
I assumed that was their request, so I grouped them in a trade and tried sending it again.

I have never been so freaked in all of my life when i saw that tess is monitering my trades, I traded with a friend who shares the computer and we swapped cubs and 2nd gens! I know all of us who are trading legit have nothing to worry about, but its still scary anyways lol

Nick is monitoring mine. I was a little freaked out myself.. I was swapping some uncommon pets with my sister and i just -o.O- Maybe we should wait with the swapping until the christmas-rush is over?

I traded with my sis a day or so ago too, we swapped our extra 2nd gens for the ones each needed. Lol, and yes, I got the same-ish message when I clicked accept that Tess will be monitoring me, but I'm not really worried as all we did was swap. It's just to discourage cheaters me thinks. *nods*

Anyway, I haven't been getting many rant-worthy trades recently, so... my rules must be working? XD I probably spoke too soon though.
