ғʋℓℓ ∂ɛƨcяιρтισи::
Anya’s most distinctive feature is her eyes – pale blue, of the color of freshly formed ice. Knowing that, she uses thick black eyeliner and mascara to make them pop out even more, making a startling contrast. Her face is rounded and framed by her straight black hair, which goes down to the middle of her back, and her neatly trimmed bangs, cut just above her eyebrows – which she also defines with the help of make-up. Yes, this Russian girl is a make-up addict. She stands at 1,62 meters, which for most is average, perhaps on the shorter side, but back in Russia she is dwarfed by everyone in her family, thus earning her the nickname of Little Anita. She’s slender, although when she was thirteen she began having serious weight problems. Those days are well past now, and no one would recognize that chubby pre-teen on this well-shaped young woman that weighs 51 kilos, definitely being on the lighter side for her current height. She wears about anything that looks rebellious enough for her father to disapprove, such as leather jackets, short skirts with leggings and a corset as a top, fishnet and lace gloves, etc. The cold weather and other practical reasons, though, force her to also wear less edgy items such as parkas, scarves and beanies. But only when at a safe distance from her father.

иιcκиαмɛƨ:: Annie, Anita, Little Anita, but most call her simply Anya.
αɢɛ:: 17

вιятнρℓαcɛ:: Smolensk, Russia
σccʋραтισи:: She had a part-time job as a helper at a tattoo studio before she boarded the Barretta school.

Anya can literally read a person's colors - meaning that, if she focuses hard enough on someone, she can see a colored aura that shows their emotions, feelings and at times glimpses from their memories. She has just found out about this ability, and as such she can't control it that well, plus focusing too hard to read someone will leave her exhausted.
нιƨтσяʏ::
No one would say that this girl, born in a chilly October morning in a modest-looking house in Smolensk, was the heiress of one of Russia’s richest families. The truth is that the Kovalevski were a very wealthy family, descending from nobility itself, a house of pureblood aristocrats. If you had the luck to have been born a Kovalevski, probably the largest effort you’d ever make would be choosing your outfits for the VIP parties.
Of course, Anya’s father was absolutely unlike the rest of their family. Hard-working, serious and seemingly cold, Dmitriy controlled everything in their family life so that they kept a low profile while he took care of his business, enlarging his bank account to ensure that Anya would always have a perfect life. Of course, that left very little time to raise his daughter. Anya’s mother, who could have been a Kovalevski herself, such a cold and ruthless woman she was, had left them for a promising career as an actress in America, taking Anya’s younger brother with her. However, even before her first movie was out, she and baby Nicolai died in a car crash. Anya, who was three at that time, never really understood what was truly happening, so she felt no grief for her deceased family. She only remembers seeing her father paling when he got the news, and that was the closest to tears that she had ever seen him.
Years later, when Anya was fourteen, she and Kalenka the cat stole into her father’s office, out of pure curiosity. She was shocked to find a letter addressed to him on his desk, demanding that he gave them their daughter, finalized with a threat on his life. It didn’t take her too long to realize that it was probably some scheme of the Russian Mafia, although she didn’t know how would she be of use to the criminals. That night, when she questioned her father about what was going on, he said nothing, but she somehow saw an aura surrounding him, an aura of blue fear similar to the one that coated her own hands.
The next day, she was told that she had to leave, and was sent to Barretta. She secretly took Kalenka with her, the only piece of home that’s left for her.

Anya is extremely curious, and is terribly prone to get in trouble. She seems to have taken stealth lessons from Kalenka, and under an inattentive look she might seem selfish and somewhat of a loner. Don’t be fooled, though. This girl is a burst of energy, with the most outlandish plans and ideas ever, and no fear whatsoever to speak her mind and stand up for herself. Her sense of humor is somewhat sharp, and her ironic or sarcastic remarks sometimes hurt others without her noticing. This makes her feel very, very bad, and she usually tries to correct herself whenever her interlocutor’s colors show that he or she feels offended.
Her morals are, to say the least, rather unusual. She has no problem in lying, cheating and stealing if she has a set goal and needs to attain it – and even more so if she is helping a friend. She’s a bit of a stalker, but she would never hurt anyone on purpose unless they had done the same to her. A true rebel, Anya loves breaking the rules and taking risks, and only does what she’s told if there is a satisfactory reason behind the orders, or if they benefit her in some way.
Behind this ‘whatever, I don’t care’ façade, she is very insecure, having grown up lacking a motherly figure, and desperately needs attention – any kind of attention. Back in the normal school, she was the kid that kept going to detention and then felt terrible about it, but kept coming back for more. Anya doesn’t know when to quit, be it in a discussion, a fight or a game, and for her, it’s always all or nothing.
ℓικɛƨ:: Writing, photography, fiction novels, Kalenka the cat, her mutation (seriously. It's a useful one.), and - very secretly - her father. He is the most important person to her.
∂ιƨℓικɛƨ:: Noisy people, liars, the Mafia, deep waters, not being able to live up to others' expectations (especially her father's).
ρяσƨ:: Anya is very good at telling whenever someone is lying - partially due to her gift. She's also a promising young writer, fun to be around and very laid-back.
ғℓαωƨ:: She's a bit too sarcastic, sometimes hurting others with her bluntness without even realizing it. She tends to enclose herself in her own personal bubble, although she longs for a true friend. Also, her photography skills aren't the best - but that never kept her from trying.
ρнσвιαƨ:: Aquaphobia. While the name suggests a fear of water in general, aquaphobia typically occurs when dealing with deep water.

Kalenka is the epitome of ‘cat’ – she does exclusively what benefits her, and nothing more than that. She loves all kinds of attention and will do anything to get it, even if that means clawing at the nineteenth-century furniture or tearing the bottom of those expensive Turkish curtains. She can be very sweet, though, and a nice furry company if she thinks you will pet her and maybe feed her as well. As most cats are, Kalenka is extremely lazy, but when in pursue of something she is restless and fierce.
нιƨтσяʏ::
Kalenka was a gift from a rich businessman to Anya’s father, when Anya was twelve. At first the girl disliked the kitty at first sight, competing with her for her father’s attention and the most comfortable armchair in front of the fireplace. Eventually, when plotting one of her schemes to steal candy from the pantry without having the housekeeper noticing her, Anya learned that if bribed with the dinner leftovers Kalenka was a powerful ally and a great distraction. So the years went by, and many quests to the pantry and dinner leftovers later Kalenka and Anya were inseparable.
ℓικɛƨ:: Being petted - seriously, this kitty loves nothing more than attention - warm places to curl up an nap, catnip (the love of her life) and playing with string balls. Why yes, old-styled entertainment sure can be fun too.
∂ιƨℓικɛƨ:: Having her naps interrupted, being ignored, the cold.
ғℓαωƨ:: Kalenka is half-deaf - she can't hear a thing from her left ear. This mutation is usually associated to the gene of blue eyes in cats.
