Cheyenne nodded. "So..." She said, not knowing what else to talk about. This was the longest conversation she'd had in a very long while.

Cheyenne looked down. "Oh, um, I was put into foster care after my mom died and moved around alot." She said, absentmindedly rubbing her forearm.

Cheyenne shrugged. "Life happens and all you can do is go with it." She said softly, looking at the ground.

He nodded, "I agree," was all he replied. He looked down to his ankle where the marks of the tightened ankle bracelet had once been. He could barely make out the marks but still had the feeling it was there. The feeling of cuffs replaced the feeling of the leatheer bracelets on his wrists and flashbacks of running came to view. Running without stopping. Some things, just arent supposed to be changed. Guess you have to go with life.

Cheyenne looked up at him, the bruise she'd received from her foster father a while ago finally almost gone on her right cheekbone. "Mind if I ask your story?" She asked softly, curious but not pushy

He paused for a second thinking. The last time he`d heard this question was with the foster home. Giving a slight chill down his spine from the memory. But thinking quickly he said, "Mom got pregnant at 16, had me and couldnt deal with me. Gave me to an orphange. I soon grew up to be 12- having been to about 10 foster homes in the last 5 years. Got into a gang, and lets just say things werent what I`d call alright." He said not getting into details. He looked at her- studying her and noticing the bruise on her cheek.
