What's the war of CS?

When Nick made some pets for April Fools, I believe, and was rumored to start doing all the linearts. It started a 'war', in which people sided with either Tess or Nick.

Okay, thank you! I remember seeing some stamps and stuffs like that but I've never understand why they had it. I think I wasn't here yet when it happened.

The layout was changed for that one day and it looked cute with the nick sunback pps instead of avian in the header XD *remembers*
and some people seriously thought that nick was being serious xD

Hmm, now I remember that the layout after the old old one and the one before this layout, when stuff was on the side bar in Porcupine font (the font used for every header button at the top and the logo XP) and Avian was tangled in a bunch of vines, and when you were on the Nick pets adopt page it had a picture of Sunny by Nick tangled in vines drawn by Nick. <3

that was some April fools joke. that Tess had left and Nick had taken over. It was unbelievable how many people took it sooo serious and literally left that day!

Nuuuu, I meant on regular CS days it was like that. But as Cholybrie said it was all changed to the one displayed on Nick's page for April Fool's Day. ^^

LOL, I remember when you could still find 2008 pets in the Free Trades Forum every once and a while. XD Not to mention, the same in the pound. The Purple Halloween Bat-Dog was my first pound pet actually. Total luck.

And I somewhat remember the old layout as well, it wasn't near the wow-factor ours has today. Glad I stayed though! It's more than worth it. ^.^

Oh I know! And if you knew how, you could open a specific page of the pound so you could have a chance of getting something good. (I think I even found a way, right before they changed the pound layout, of opening a specific pet in it's own page so I could have only one pet shown. XD Never had a chance to test it though. I know, shame on me! lol)

If i go back in time, im totes gunna make myself join CS, and adopt hundreds of the july/augusts. Start up a massive hoard

Ohhh! I remember that! XD I think I even addressed her by that name in my old Butterfly Wolf Guide she took over. *giggles* People must think I'm crazy 1) calling her Chryseis, and 2) acting like I made the thread, when it's (now) hers. Haha, what a trip!

Indeed they were...but I traded a grey July PPS for a rainbow leopard. Well, I was happy about it then, so it doesn't matter. XD I remember when the only items were pockys and the only pets were rats and dogs, then when the horses came they didn't grow because Tess said she couldn't figure out how to draw a foal. Ahh, good times. :3
