Night flicked an ear then padded back to the cave. She sat down with a soft grunt then continued to groom her wound.

Amani watched the cub with interest. he hid in the dark shadows, out of sight. That's right, get a little closer......

Tumbleweed growled at the sound of a gunshot, but stayed where she was. She usually didn't care about humans. Unless they have free food. Sometimes they do, and I just steal it from them! Or even better, they willingly hand it to me. But, if they don't, I just don't care about them.

Amani waited for the cub to get close. Once he did he ran out and picked it up by the scruff. He carefully carried it back to the cave and showed it to Nite. "Look who I found momma!" he said the the cub's fur.

She blinked then smiled saying, "Why hello, who do we have here?" Night smiled then turned to Amani nodding purring, "Very nice job Amani."

Amani put the cub on the ground gently. He blocked the cave enterace so he cound get away.
