Oh that's the morning report scene. I never recognized it either at first until I asked someone and they said it was a deleted scene from the first TLK movie. It was when Zazu came to Mufasa for the morning report and he suddenly starts singing

'The Morning Report" scene was originally from the Broadway production, and was added into the film for the Platinum Edition release in 2003. c:

From what I understand, the song has been now cut from all current productions. I wasn't too upset by this, I never really cared too much for the song. In all honesty, I would have preferred them to have added,"Shadowland" into the film, but it probably would have been more of a challenge to storyboard than 'The Morning Report".

Ok. Yeah, I only have the VHS Lion Kings. I thought that that song was only on Broadway and for some reason it never occured to me that it was turned into a deleted scene.

Ugh. It seems like everyone has seen TLKoB except for me... Oh well. I guess it's on my bucket list.
