Elenwen looked around at the crew, wide eyed, she knew she was losing this fight... "I swear I wasn't trying to hurt anyone! I would never try too." she cringed down, looking at her feet.

She looked up at Elenwen, and glanced over at Will quickly and then back at her.
She swallowed hard and bit her lower lip, looking back at the sea.

Arabelle still looked wary. She'd had a bad encounter with a mermaid when she was younger, and still had scars on her back from that time. One of her hands was gripping the handle of her knife tightly, but she wasn't pointing it at Elewen, it was still sheathed. Her eyes kept glancing around, at the crew, at the edge of the boat, at the floor, then glancing at Elewen, her eyes a little frightened.

She saw Arabelle grasp her knife. Devon shook her head. "Don't," she said softly, glancing back over to Elewen.

"Wasn't planning to," Arabelle muttered back. "Just in case."

She shrugged. "You never know," she said under her breath, and looked around at them all.
