It made sense that she would have needed somewhere to practice. Otherwise, how else would she be so good with the weapon? Although he wasn't about to ask, he knew that it was kept a secret from most, and he was probably amongst one of the few people that knew of her hobby that most would think of as 'un-lady-like'. There was, of course, one guard that was a woman, but she was the only one who had ever joined the guard, being of her gender.
Marcel silently looked around the clearing, eyes wide with awe as he saw the beauty of the place reflecting from every corner. From the flowers to the lake, everything seemed perfect. As if it had been made by an angel, or as if the place were from a fairytale. The fact that he was the only person she had shown it to made him feel...special. But why had she chosen him, out of everyone? The question burned in his mind, and he glanced over at her, seeing the happy expression she had on her face, as if she were at home. He couldn't help but smile as she began to giggle, mentioning the present that he had not brought.
