Sally heard Jack, but he was looking in the wrong place. "Jack? I'm up in the tower, and the window is locked," she whispered hoarsely. She didn't want the doctor to hear her, especially not with Jack around. She already had enough problems as it was, Jack or no.

Jack put his head in his hands and sighed, "He keeps moving you," he whispered back. Jack knew there were only a few ways to get up there. While Climbing was the most painful, it was the easiest and quietest way up.

"Well yeah. I keep getting out," Sally said quietly. She didn't know if she could make it out this time without disentangling all of her limbs. That would not be the most fun to put back together, oh no. It was okay if it was just her arms, but fitting through the metal bars was going to involve extreme surgery on her own part.

Jack began to climb the wall, His spindly, Lean, sharp, figure moved up the tower, quickly and quietly. "Yeah, i noticed," he gave a quiet laugh.

"I'm sorry Jack, but it looks like I'm stuck here for the rest of the night. Your gonna have to spend the night without me, at least until i get discarded by the doctor. He's making a more suitable character for his tastes," she said with a small sigh. She wrapped her cloth hands around the bars and popped her head out between the bars to look down on him.

"Sally, don't ask me to do the imposable, please," He was almost to the top, he wouldn't mind hanging outside the tower, as long as he got to see Sally. "I mostly hope that the doctor lets you free. Not discards. If he did that, he'd take you apart, and use pieces of you, we can have that now can we?"

Sally gave small laugh as he talked. "He won't take me apart, not while he can still boast about me being his prototype for the newest model," she told him sadly. She didn't know why he would do anything for her, let alone climb a tower. He was the Pumpkin King. Not a peddler or musician.

"you're not just an object, just something he can use. You have spirit, and opinions, you have feelings, things most of us want to have, but can't, you know that Sally, don't you?" He had finnally reached where The bars were. "and you mean something to me. you see, in a sense we are the same, you were made, and so was I, i was made by the people of halloweentown to be what I am today. And to find someone, who can understand everything about you, and lived about as 3rd a long time is something i'm thankful for."

"That's the thing Jack. To him and many others, I am an object. Simply a piece of property that he wishes to throw around and simply make obey him. I have been given these abilities, but not the allowance to use them. I have my hands tied behind my back," Sally said sadly. "I may have an understanding with you, but I must follow the laws made by the doctor. I am thankful to hear I am not alone in the ways of being made though."

"And I hate seeing him treat you like that, Sally. If I could do more, I would and if you have an idea to get you out, please, tell me." He stared into her deep eyes.
