If you can find the original on DeviantArt or some other original art site (not photobucket) then report the post and provide a link to the original.

Some artists give people permission to use any non-specific character art on other site, or may give permission for a specific piece of art to be used elsewhere. Hence the reason you have to verify the original. I use the site tineye.com to search for the images, but once you spend a bit of time looking them up you'll find a few specific artists on DA get their art stolen a lot and will recognize their styles which helps with the search.

I wouldn't say that real life animals can't be used, but even still if it's someone else'sat or dog, you shouldn't really claim it as a character O.O

I think it's extremely annoying though, finding people's hour-long divine piece of artwork being taken and used for RP-ing! I've seen alot of people doing that and it's just really getting on my nerves >O<

To avoid this, I just always try to use my own pictures. It's easily done for me, as I volenteer at a humane society - I can get pictures of dogs and cats easily, and I work at an equestrian farm, so I can also get pictures of horses. If it's anything else animal wise, Hello Zoo! And if it's something human, I'll ask permission to use pictures of my friends. But another way to avoid it is to just use discriptions - no pictures xD

Of course you are allowed to flirt, just nothing too big and nothing too realistic.

It's when your character hit another character without giving them the chance to avoid it.
This would be auto hitting:

Sandy lashed out, her paw whacking tom in the face.

This would be the correct way to do it:

Sandy lashed out, her paw flying towards tom's face as she prepared to hit him.
