That depends from case to case. Does the art look like you agreed uppon? Did you both agree on the price before you started? Did your customer see examples of your art and got all info? And did you do best to match their order? Or did they just change their mind after you had finished? Then you shouldn't have to refund them. You kept your end of the deal.

If you missed something or make something wrong by mistake, then it coud be a good idea to offer to edit the art for them so that they'll like it better, if they want you to^^.

Anyway, if they ordered the art from you and you made it as they asked to, there really is no reason to refund them. You have already spent your time on the artwork and there is no way they could pay your time back to you, so you shouldn't have to give the payment back either.

Yeah, they saw exsamples, but i was nice and gave the pet back :p

I'm thinking of opening an art shop, but I don't know how to uplaod the art.
My 3 main questions:
1. How do you uplaod your art?
2. How do you make it have a transparent background?
3. How should you upload traditional art and resize it, crop it, and such?

Thank you for answering my questions.

Thank you for answering my questions.

1. You use an image hosting site such as http://www.tinypic.com or http://www.photobucket.com, when you upload your image the site will give you a copy-paste image code (it has [img] tags around it).
2. You make a transperant background in an art program that can handle layers (photoshop, corel painter, GIMP... there are many). Hide the bottom layer, and a checkered background will show up. The checker pattern is the art programs representation of transperacy. Save your image as .png and upload it.
You can also use another program, colour the backgroun in some funky colour that shows up nowhere else in the image. Then you go to http://www.iaza.com and upload the image there. You have many options to modify the image, like making a transperant background. Remember to save your image afterwards, iaza deletes it after a while^^.
3. First you have to get your image into your computer by scanning or photographing it. Then you open the image in an art program, a simpler one like MSpaint works perfectly. There you can crop and resize and then you upload it as above. I think you can use iaza to crop and resize as well, play around with it.
