Modern Magic (No more new members)

"Oh really?" Shane said with a smile as he playfully ran to the swing next to her and began swinging. He already knew she could, she was obviously lighter than him so, it would only be practical if she did swing higher then her. Shane tried anyway, just for the fun of it. He watched as she swung, she seemed so happy and carefree, Shane liked that about her.

"Hey Shane... what were your friends from the last town like?" Myst asked, her hair flowing behind her as she swung up.

"I didn't have any." Shane replied, slightly uncomfortable. He had hated being in that town. Having bad parents didn't help much. They were actually the main reason he'd had no friends there.

"Well, I have some thing in common then! Well, at least we did. Now we're friends and neither of us have to feel alone or left out!" Myst said. She smiled at him as she slowed down and let his swing go higher then her's.

"That'll be easy. I can play a few instruments, can dance, but I suck at art, so that's a no-go," she said, standing up. "Do you want to start now? I have a friend who owns a music shop. She'll be more than happy to lend me her baby grand."

Shane smiled back to her in agreement. Shane started swinging faster and faster, gradually getting higher. He waited til he was at the top of his forward swing. Shane then flipped out of his swing and onto the ground. He gained a satisfied look, happy that he had successfully completed the flip.

(lol, sorry it took me so long to post, I had to practice my flute.)

Myst dragged her feet on the ground as she swung back, gradually coming to a stop. She grinned. "Nice flip!" she said happily. Myst remained seated and was staring off into space, deep in thought.

J got up. "Great!" he said, just finishing his butterfly drawing.

"Thanks." Shane said laughing slightly, mostly out of embarrassment. He then returned to the swing he had flipped off of moments ago and sat down, not bothering to swing.

Lumina smiled before taking his hand and walking off. The music store she was talking about wasn't too far from the pack. "Mizu, it's me, can I borrow your piano?" she called out as soon as she entered. They were greeted by a woman in her 30s with long blonde hair and green eyes that twinkled.
"Of course Lumina," she said before disappearing behind some shelves.
The raven haired girl smiled wistfully before leading J to a secluded room at the back of the store. Right smack in the middle was a Black Baby Grand Piano. "You ready?" she asked, before taking a seat on the piano stool.

Myst's thoughts came back to earth. "I wonder... my father's village was attcked by dragons, but he was so eager to accept you as a member of the house hold, even when you're a dragon shifter. Since his village was attacked, the year after I was born, he's always tried to keep his distance from dragons and any thing that has some thing to do with dragons. It's just a little out of character, but I'm glad he was fine with you staying." she said. Myst smiled and chuckled a little, but still thoughts of her father's odd behavour filled her mind.

J found a seat and quickly scetched the out line of the piano. "Yep!"
