Rosebud took a deep breath "Claykit is a kind young tom i am sure he will finda she-cat that will accept his ation rather than words" she meowed calmly "and as the battle part. He will always have his friends and kin with him. He can always count on them. Goldenheart all of your kits are beautiful in their own way. Some will grown faster than others and they will always e different cats! some will battle some will hunt...maybe one of them will e my apprentice someday" she purred softly "i am sure he will be fine"

Claykit looked up at Rosebud with big eyes...all her words were so kind... he sniffled sadly and looked down a few tears ran down his muzzle silently

She nodded silently scolding herself. "Claykit dont cry. But wait....how do I know what he says when I ask him a question? Because I have a good idea if he is up to it and wants to do it." She purred happily.

"well he could have symbols i mean for yes and no he could just nod but if he used objects to answer you could piece it together right?" she asked smiling

Claykit nodded happily at the idea tear still dripped down his muzzle at the trouble he was causing them

"Yes." She leaned over and looked at Claykit. "Claykit? How would you feel being Rosebud's apprentice?" She smiled wide almost laughing in happiness. She then looked at Rosebud. "Well what do you think? Claykit being your apprentice?"

Rosebud purred "i would be honored! but it's not up to me" she meowed looking at Claykit

Claykit shook his head solemnly then leaped in the air flailing his out stretched claws happily

"Great!" She purred watching her son leap for the first time. She smiled looking up happily as the wind blew through her fur.

Goldenheart didnt frowned but he eyes were a little disapointed. I know it would be mean to make him a medicine cat just because he is mute but....he would probly be a great one. I think he wouldnt be as good as a warrior..... She kept her thoughts to herself and tried to smile.
