She had better be fine... If he had been in camp rather than larking around with Featherpaw then maybe he could have stopped her being taken... With all the fleeing cats, he hadn't noticed that his clan members had been taken... Maybe Blackstar was right though? Kite was capable of looking after herself. More than capable. She wouldn't go down without one h*ll of a fight.

Aware of flashing memories of Foxstar, the she-cat lowered her gaze to her paws, ears flattened against her head. "I know how she feels..." She muttered, her voice barely audible. Pulling herself together, Hollyheart raised her gaze to the sky, her breathing slowing.

Tigerblaze
Purring softly, he nuzzled Sandcloud before speaking. "I came to see how my beautiful mate and kits were" Tigerblaze mewed, looking down towards Swankit and Tawnykit as he spoke.

Swankit
Mewing loudly, the she-kit crawled closer to her mother. Swankit didn't cease her cries until she felt the warmth of her mother's pelt.

Blackstar nodded, even though he knew that his deputy wouldn't see him. "Come on. Let's get you inside." He walked slow, determained not to hurt the tom even more.

Leopardfrost could guess what Hollyheart meant. "You know, I could tell Foxstar had a hard choice, choosing between you and Bramblestorm." She mewed. "I think that's why he made her deputy."

She smiled. "Ah, but you have a son. He can't be beautiful, because he's handsome." She joked, and moved to sit up.

Mist scowled, hearing the movement in Blackstar's fur and recognising it as a nod. Rolling his eyes although it didn't really do anything, he swished his tail in irritation but walked with his leader back into the medicine cat's den. Just to show how unimpressed with the situation he was, he lightly touched his throat then put his bloody paw on Blackstar's face. It was only fair... After all he was being left out of the patrol due to injury.

Hollyheart
"Please don't remind me" Hollyheart mewed, her eyes closing as she lowered her head again. Lying down, she rested her head on her good paw. Sighing softly, she glanced up at Leopardfrost. "So what was the reason for your visit?"

Tigerblaze
Nudging Sandcloud's neck with his nose, the tom rested his head on his paws. Tigerblaze let out a soft sigh as exhaustion caught up with him. "Well... He does take after me"

[Keriae]

Blackstar pulled a face. "Look, I'll have her back in a flash once we go." He promised. "But that doesn't me I want blood on my face." He'd had blood on his face, neck, chest and paws when he killed Foxstar. He never wanted to see that much blood again.

Leopardfrost looked carefully at her. "You seemed lonely. Or aren't I allowed to say hello?" She didn't want to admit that Appleberry was really her only friend in the Clan.

"Of course he does. You're both very handsome." She licked his cheek, but she had noticed his sigh. "If you're tired, you can sleep, you know. When they open their eyes, I don't want them to see a tired father."

"Well... To tell you the truth, I am" She mewed, opening her eyes to look up at Leopardfrost. Hollyheart pushed herself up to sitting position, a sigh escaping her lips as she did so.

Tigerblaze
Closing his eyes, he nodded slowly as he stifled a yawn. Soon Tigerblaze was asleep, his only movement being the rise and fall of his chest. (Major wb)

Leopardfrost nodded. "I may as well admit something too." She took a deep breath, knowing that, deep down in her heart, Hollyheart would never tell "I'm lonely too. Appleberry's my only friend, and with her current state, I ca't spend any time with her."

"You can hardly blame her..." Hollyheart mewed, sighing softly as she finished. "To lose the one you love.... We're never whole again" The she-cat hated it when she got all melo-dramatic but she couldn't help it.

Leopardfrost gave a little nod. "It's understandable." She replied. She hadn't ever lost anyone, and she was glad for that, but it did make it harder to understand what Appleberry was going through.
