Today I was born. It's a bright big world and I enjoy the company of my brothers and sisters. I can't wait until I become an adult and impress Alonie. I can't wait to show her what I shall become! She will love me just as much as all other of her pets! I am glad I have been adopted by such a good owner instead of where some of us went.
I do hope to see all my brothers and sisters one day. There was so many of us! When I was adopted, so many were still left, I do hope they all got such great homes as I did! Before I left, my parents gave me a green flowered blanket. They gave all my sisters the same blanket as we left and my brother a choice of 3 different blankets. I don't care that they got to choose their's, I'm glad my parents gave me something to rememeber them with. I will miss them so much, and hope to see them one day before they are dead. They are every old, mother has many wrinkles and father has grey fur all though out his pelt. I will always miss them.

Today we were allowed to explore the house! And oh boy it is truly a magical place, I didn't even have enough time to see everything! In fact I only saw the bedrooms today! Everyroom is different from the next, the adult dogs sleep in one huge room with fluffy soft beds, soft cream colored walls, and toys as far as the eye can see. And apparently Alonie buys a new toy for each dog that grows to an adult. It makes me even more excited to grow up!
When we were allow to take to the older dogs, they all had many stories to tell! One adult (Who's name slips my mind) told me of how he was adopted to a evil owner, who gave home no name and just shoved him in a over-crowded trade group. After many months of that terrible place, he was sent to the pound. He said it was abou as good as his first home, it was horrifying as dogs twice his size barked at him to do something for him, he would always do it because he didn't want to get hurt, or worse killed. Finally Alonie adopted him from the pound and gave him a name and placed him carefully in the room where he meet the love of his life. He said that everything he went though was worth finding her. I thought it was a lovely story, and I'm glad the old dog found his love.

Today Tiger Wind, Target, Arrow Bless and I went to explore the horse stables. It was big and smelling though not all of the stables were being used. Apparently adopting horses just came out a couple months ago. I thought there was still alot of horses but Target thought there was barley enough. But I geuss he was comparing the amount of horses to the amount of dogs. But there was a large group of white horses with either black, brown, or butterscotch markings, they were so very big! Tiger Wind, who is the biggest of all of us, only reached up a quarter of the way to the smallest horse! After a little bit, one of the horses looked down for one reason or another, and started to scream when she saw us. They all started to run and trample the ground below them, we had to run away and hide inside some fallen barrels! It was terrifying to see the horse jump and run around us. And I am grateful none of us got hurt. We will more than likely go again in the next couple days, I would like to go see the rest of the horse area. But I don't know who would come with me. I do like exploring alone, it's always more fun to be with my friends. Hopefully their not all scared away.

Today I finally convinced Arrow Bless to come with me to the stables, Tiger Wind and Target were too scared to go. It was bright and sunny, so most of the horses were outside, only one or two horses were inside, but they were sleeping. So we walked though the stables and finally found a huge grassy field, where fillies and colts were playing. They all had rainbow manes, and we a little bigger than us two dogs. We talked to some of the horses for a couple minutes, hen they told us of a big forest just outside of the pastures they lived in. We started to run to the forest, by by the time we got to the border of trees, the sun was already setting. We decided to go back soon. Maybe next time Tiger Wind and Target will come with us.

We finally convinced Tiger Wind and Target to come with us to the forest today. I was so excited! We started running to the first but had to slow down and wait for Target since he had asthama, but we didn't mind much. It wasn't his fault, but I know he didn't like slowing us down. Finally we reached the forest, it felt like I took forever to get there, but in reality it only took a few hours. We started exploring the area and found that many different animals live in the foret. Rabbits, birds, owls, and many other animals. It was an exciting day.

Today, when we got to the forest yet again, we heard someone crying. It was a large lizard looking thing, when we asked what was wrong it shows us his tail that had a large rock stuck inside of it. We were all scared of the giant creature, but Arrow Bless went up to the creature bravely and pulled out the rock. The creature thanked us and told us that he was a dragon. A rare animal that lived in the wild, when we asked why his species was so rare, he told us, "Well, us dragons live for a very long time, we used to be very commen in these parts. But now everytime an eggs comes into this world, a bald eagle will come and eat it. And me and my wife fear that our soon coming egg will share the same fate as these other eggs. It is very sad and I hope we do not go extint."
That's when I thought of something, "Talon," For that was his name, "We come from a place where when we are born We are adopted to owners who take good care of us. I have many brothers and sisters that came with me to my owner and none of us have died. What if you talk to Tess to see if you all can give your eggs to loving owners? None of your eggs will die and they will all live long lives."
"It is a good idea, I will speak to the other dragons. Some will not allow it, for they will think they are better protection for their babies. But you may see dragons around your place by November!" And he flew off. When we told Alonie she said that she was proud of us helping the dragon. It was a nice day.

Today a couple of my brothers have grown to be pups! They are all so very excited, they all now insist that they are the best and they all hang out with the other pups, though none of them are really older than I am. Though they all insist to push us newborns away from them and cause mischief. Like today, Target ran to the older dogs and started yelling gibberish. All the other pups were whooping and laughing as he did it. He got in alot of trouble with Alonie. She made him sit in the corner and think about what he did. It made my day every special.

Today I have become a pup! Only a few of my brothers remain of our litter. Most of the other newborns haven't become pups yet and they all play. So far, most of my sister just sit around and gossip with other girls. While I on the other hand have been playing with the boys. Today we snuck away from the other pets, and ran to the creek where mother used to take me and my littermates, and play and played in the water for hours. There was a big old tire swing and we jumped into the water. It was a blast until a search party came and made us get out of the water, now Alonie has grounded us for the rest of the day. But I geuss it could be worse, we could be grounded for much longer.

I still wonder what I will become when I am an adult. Some newborns become something totally different then what they are born with, and some become the same thing they were born as. I do hope I will be beautiful like my mother, she was always bright and full of energy. She never needed to be like high class ladies, she ran, rolled in mud, and swam in the local creek with us. And every wrinkle held a smile, a memory, a great time trapped inside. I do hope I will be like her when I'm older.

Today I have some odd news to share, it's weird to say. Today when we all went to the forest to play hide-and-seek it was kind of dark. I was a little scared so Arrow Bless hid with me in a dark cave. The space was so tight that we were pressed close to each other. His fur smelled like a mixture of the dark forest and home. I smiled at him, and he smiled back, then I stopped and looked away. When I looked back at him he was staring at me, "What are you looking at?" I asked him with a little awkward smile. And with his little crooked smile, he said, "Your beautiful eyes." And with those quiet minutes following, we just stared at each other I found that I did like him. How his markings weaved around with his grey pelt, how his deep eyes just seemed to capture me. And there, right before he was about to give me a lick, stupid freaking Tiger Wind came up and found us.
It all was just so odd! I grew up with him and he said I had beautiful eyes! And I liked the close moment, I wanted it to continue for the rest of the night. But why would I? While in the close space my heart was pounding over what might happen, what would happen if Tiger Wind hadn't found us. But what happens now? In the movies the guy and the girl would fall in love and run off into the sunset. But what will happen in real life? where in the morning I'll have to get up, go down to the dining hall and see him across the table. I'm so confused!

Was today was a total disaster, everytime I looked over to Arrow Bless, he was looking at me, and I would quickly look away. I hated every moment of that stupid day, when we went to go play capture the flag. He mad sure that we were on separate teams, even though in the past he would want me on his team sice I'm easily the second fastest out of all of us. So far I hate today so much. Hopefully tommarrow will be better.
