I haven't heard of many attacks or wolves being IN town though, mainly just on the outskirts.
Ahh right, well I guess it is quite rare to hear of a wolf attacking within a town. But I can understand the outskirts part. :3

That's okay. It happens to everyone. x3
We're talking about wolf habituation, which is basically when a wolf is found in villages and such, and we're discussing the various reasons of why this kind of thing happens. Like people feeding the wolves, which lures them into the villages.. Etc.

Never heard of wolves in towns attacking people with rabies, only with dogs. But I'm sure that's another possibility.
O: Oh and, to Nush. I have no idea. xD

Ah, yes my post was kind of unclear. My apologies.
Usually, that's why they attack people. Not all the time, but usually.
Sometimes it's rabies or other causes. But if it's rabies, they definitely would lose most of their natural fear of humans
and act very odd as well, depending on what stage the virus is in.
I remember a case where a family was vacationing in (Yellowstone? some Colorado national park? can't remember). A mountain lion came up behind a young boy (around 8 yrs.) and put its paw on the boy's shoulder and growled. It backed off then pounced on his back, and luckily the father had a gun. Since the mountain lion acted very strangely, the rangers of the park examined the body and concluded it had rabies.
But I'm getting off topic here :p
