When I read this, my eyes literally started welling up. I am so sorry to all of you for that horrific experience that you had to endure, and may Travis rest peacefully. People can be so cruel, to both humans and animals, but just remind yourself that you are by no means the only people that have experienced this kind of abuse. Also, when people are drunk they do stupid things, but nice people would not do such a thing if they became drunk, it only takes an originally unkind person to do that sort of horror.
I am very glad that the two truly horrible people have been brought to justice, and I know that fact could never be enough to replace Travis. I can gladly say that I'm glad that they didn't kill you too.
If only our characters that we can draw and create were real, then mine would certainly of saved your dog and made sure that you didn't have to go through that.

I swear.. my characters probbaly would of fought over who got to hurt them, the horses would be wanting to stop them to death, in protection fo the pup, and poor poeple, any canines would of been wanting to rip them.. with their teeth..alot.
